If you have another PCI slot free, try the card in that. Sometimes the card causes whats know as an IRQ conflcit. This means 2 devices are trying to communicate using the same channel, as it were. Just try moving the cards around inside the computer...but only the ones in the PCI slots. I've had the same thing happen with mine. I had my sound card installed, then went to install a network card, and it wouldn't work with the soundcard, but would without. I tried moving the soundcard to another slot, and it all worked fine (Y)
