We got "asked to leave" Freeserve, back in the day when they were Freeserve, and not Wanadoo, for "excessive bandwidth use". That was back back in the days of "OMGZ...I have broadband...must download EVERYTHING" though.

As has been said...yes its annoying, but that's the way of life unfortunatly. Making topics such as this one doesn't really help. I'm sure everybody agrees, and you don't need to see 100 people saying "I agree", so I think locking this topic would be the sensible thing to do.

Disconnect the battery, and leave it for 10 minutes...this will clear the ECU of any stored fault codes. Might be worth a shot. ...if not, just stick a bit of tape over the bulb, if you're 100% sure theres not a problem.

Teenage Angst Communal Agony Aunt Thread

That actually made me well up! That is soooo sweet. You'd be a fool not to go for it. Normally I'd say not to go out with your close friends, but by the sounds of it, you're practically going out anyway, and if you've been like this for 8 years, I think its safe to say you're a good match! At the end of the day, its 2 years. Its not like you're an adult anyway, age shouldn't be an issue. I was 18, going out with a 15 year (she was about 3 months away from being 16 when we first started seeing each other) I got a bit of stick at work to begin with, the odd remark about being a kiddy fiddler and stuff...but none of it was ever actually meant. I went out with her for almost a year, and I can honestly say it was the best year of my life. She wasn't your typical 15 year old though, she acted alot older than me 95% of the time, and because of that, I forgot that she was nearly 3 years younger than me. And to be honest, I wasn't bothered about it at all. It's good that your mum and her mum are so close too, because that will really help things. Family support is problem the most important thing in a situation like this. You hear of older people being together all the time. I bet your parents have an age gap of more than 2 years! Girls tend to mature a lot sooner than us lads too, so at your age, I really don't see it being that much of an issue. Good luck, whatever happens! -
How is that "shit stirring"?! You seem to think he HAS to say RIP. As Mark said, he only watched a couple of his programs, therefore, he wasn't really a fan...just like me. Lets be honest, it's not really going to affect any of our lives is it? None of us will be going to his funeral, and none of us will be deeply morning. Yeah, a couple of people may have been quite shocked, but that same shock would be present if it was another celibrity, I'm sure. I hate people jumping on the bandwagon when people pass away, as far as I'm concerned, unless you actually knew him as a person, not a tv personality, it shouldn't bother you as much as it clearly is. I'd describe somebody calling Steve a "legend", a pretty big fan? How is that even in the slightest bit contriversial?! Its stating the obvious! If he'd said Steve was an Ozzy twat that deserved to die or something like that, then yes, I could see your point. But as it is, your arguement for him being contriversial, just because he doesn't share your opinions, is a bit weak. Again, I fail to see Mark's apparent contraversy?! Or how he "goes off on one". If I was told I was glad somebody was dead, I think I'd be a bit pissed too. ...you may as well add me to your list of "shit stirrers" while you're at it, because I whole-heartedly agree with Mark.
-
Mark's got PMT. ...oh yeah. RIP Steve. Doesn't really affect me, and I can't say I'll really miss him, but it did kinda shock me when I heard it on the tv this morning.

I've Made These Mistakes So You Don't Have To

Thanks to various friends, I've learnt not to trust women, they just mess you around. Then again, I'm sure they would say the same thing about blokes...its just a case of misunderstanding on both sides. And thanks to the lad that was driving the car in the crash I was involved in a few weeks ago, I've learnt to slow the hell down in my car, and not think you're invincible when you're driving...because you're far from it. ...this could potentially be a very interesting topic, good thinking Steve -
Don't know if she comes on here that often anymore, but it's Em's birthday today, so wanted to wish her a very happy birthday. Not a teenager anymore though, so gonna have to start being a grown up Hope you have a fab day sweetie, lots of love xxx
