  1. milemarker - idle hands. n wood probably listed the songs for ftc6.
  2. i'd order in chinese food if i owned that car.
  3. monty bikes are nice comp bikes. light and fragile. they've always ridden great, and are always the lightest off the shef bikes. though it comes at a price, which is general durability. if you don't rag your bike a lot though, it should be good for a fair while.
  4. right but can do some switch, like smaller gaps, 2 ft pedal ups and basic comp-style riding.
  5. ive used VPs on tensiles with no problems.
  6. Homeless? Send them to Cidade de Deus! We had no paved roads, no electricity. Look, they're raising a lightpost!
  7. You might aswell get some decent cranks and send them straight off to the powdercoaters...
  8. plaz are hard to beat. ive been running plaz for a fair while now, can only fault the wet weather performance, but it's still acceptable. pads always rock on the piston. the softer they are, the rounder they will become and eventually rip out of the backings if you're unlucky or a bad mechanic. my plazmatics haven't rounded at all (at least very little) which is good... it is nice to see that steve has sorted moulding and new backings out, but to be honest, i'd rather see more money put into r&d than finishing touches and aesthetics.
  9. heatsink should focus on making a pad for ground rims, to compete with koxx and plazmatic instead of making for smooth rims.
  10. and he doesn't seem to stop improving either. :)

    Fatty R's

It should be doable, I think Deng refers to it as "SILK POLISH". I have no idea how it is done, but it is something done after welding etc. Though I think it's hard to get exactly the same finish, I think it's possible to get it pretty close by messing around with various grade sandpaper and polishing wheels, cloths etc.

a friend stripped his. they turned out silver. (surprise) cover them in nitromors. then wash it off. then its your choice to either sand and polish, or to spray them.
  13. quality is acceptable but not great. try and get a proper miniDV camera instead.

    Avid?

get the avid. you will thank me this winter. mechanical disc brakes feel as nice in the cold as the warm, unlike hydraulic brakes. :-
  15. the red rimmed was 04. white rimmed was 05.
  16. the tubes had lasted me MONTHS without any punctures, incl. two comps with low pressures. stupid english street. :- and yes, the tubes are paper thin.
  17. i have lost count on how many punctures i got at that london ride.. cheers andy (i think it was your name, goldish helmet, sorry if wrong) for the tube. i had about 8 million punctures and a ripped off valve... was a good day.
  18. i LOVED the cops at st pauls. "right lads, these bikes are not designed for riding on walls" "if we see you here one more time, your bikes will be taken and crushed. and you wouldn't like that, now would you? poor adrian got bullied by the coppers. :S
  19. how would i know the name? we call them grispick.
