qt standalone..

lots of street, decent tunes, great riding, great editing. it's a classic. saw it when brett released it on otn a fair while back. love the old mtt videos, aswell as the itt/mainland vids.. canadians are fun to watch.

i like the scroll wheel better than fiddly little buttons. shame the polycarbonate covering the LCD cracked. screen still works, but looks ugly with a crack in it, and new screens are 40-50 quid... meh. holds all the songs i want and is small enough (ipod mini). video on smaller screens is pointless. i tried watching video on a phone, didn't work. tried on my dv cam, not too comfy on a train etc. Also, looks a lot wider than the regular ipod, which i reckon is a bit too bulky. i use the white 'phones cos my koss portapro phones broke. my white ones are broken too, but to a lesser extent. meh. :ermm:

levi's recommend sitting in the bath with new jeans for a more custom fit. Can't see how it would shrink them that much though, only a little. and it only works with raw denim, nothing old or pre-faded.

lenses dry up if you do not blink often enough or have a type that don't work with your eyes. I use mine all the time. Glasses are such a pain. I've been swimming with mine and stuff, have had em on at the beach, pool, whatever.. just don't dive with your eyes open.

i used to ride in glasses. did for about 2 1/2 years worth of trials. got contacts and oh my god it's 10000x easier to ride, because you can actually see what's going on. Also, you don't get blind because of foggy glasses when it rains or is sub-zero temperatures outside. I use the monthly ones. Feels weird to poke your eye at first, but it's sooo worth it. It will feel uncomfortable the first two days, as it takes a few attempts to get them in the eye, and that makes it a bit sore. Be prepared to try 2-3 different brands to find the brand that suits your eyes better. Coincidentally, the brand that worked with my eyes best was the most expensive. :blink: I've heard mixed opinions on the daily ones. I can't use them with my eyes because they're 'special' and i have to use toric contacts. I've heard that the daily ones are more fiddly to get in the eye, but I'm sure it's no biggie. They're more expensive, and cleaning and storing contacts isn't rocket science exactly.. Take it out, rub it with some fluid in your hand, down in the little container, fill with fluid, cap on and voila. Just wash your hands....

don't forget the 20" tft monitor aswell :) I would like to try a Mac out sometime. I never play games or anything remotely fun. I just listen to music, chat on msn and edit videos once a year when I find someone to film.

intel p4 3.4ghz, 1gb ddr ram, 150gb free hdd, 8mbit connection. :) I just can't work with electronics at the mo.

except it will crash every 30 minutes and display security warnings as soon as you don't want the windows updater to pop up every 5 seconds.

falling down a set of stairs (on my bike) when i was about 5.. busted lip. splitting my eyebrow riding a few years ago. learning pedal kicks. buyall tour mk1. omgosh.

use the ipod updater to erase all data and restore the settings... then when you're done with that, keep it connected to the computer, put hold on, and off, then press the centre button and menu button simultaneously for 10 seconds to reboot the 'pod for minium problems.

I've pinched a maxxis minion 2ply. rim design looks awsome for 'extreme freeride'.

water is ok.. just be thorough and be prepared to rebleed ever so often...
