  1. Yes. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=64644 http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=63309 Sam wheeler's now coming too, "With lots of makeup and black clothes", Unfortunately, he's not going in fancy dress. :P Rob/Mike. :P
  2. Me, fatmike, Peter Bäckgren and possibly a few other riders are going to Bristol on Sunday, and Porthcawl on monday. Fancy a ride? Meet at Temple Meads at around 11:30? & Ring/post if you're gonna head down to Porth. Not really sure where to meet! My cell is 0046734349554 but unless you want sky high bills, TEXT ONLY. Better bet is to speak to/ring Fatmike on 07870191382. (Y) Mike/Rob
  3. didn't know that the bloxx were turbo diesel... ;)
  4. most brake pads are not rubber at all, but polyurethane?
  5. grind the welded spots, and remove the lockring. throw the internals away. grind two flat spots on the freewheel body, fasten in a vice and beast it off. it's the best way.
  6. HEEEAAATHCLIFFE, IT'S ME KATHY! oh my god what a crap film.
  7. my acs kept loosening off, so i took the lockring off, cleaned the threads on the lockring and freewheel body, applied some threadlock, tightened the lockring up, and left it overnight. after this, it never loosened off again. most people probably slap a big amount of loctite threadlock onto dirty threads, and ride straight away. never works. eno freewheels seem to be pretty good. if you find a decent rear hub, front freewheel is really nice...
  8. The 3 or 4 normal ones follow the bad ones because they're "well 'ard".
  9. 4 bolt forks tend to crack there... look for new forks.
  10. won't be the same without all the pikey fairground rides.. :)
  11. jamiroquai - feels just like it should?
  12. aspire sell the pink stuff now, so i'm pretty sure you could sort a deal out with a custom bmx hub... just robbing the shell off a classic hub (if they're the same).
  13. Gluing stuff together isn't really the best way to go.... Unless your frame is positively f**ked beyond repair. My BB comes loose ever so often. I just ride it, because I can't be arsed to take the cranks off. It sorts itself out after a few rides.
  14. making it a link doesn't really help us others...
  15. not tapered enough for me to notice a difference. Crank has not come loose yet, but it'll probably break just 'cos i said it wouln't.
  16. FFW is not all "click bang". I ran an ACS on the crank for a year. NEVER skipped. Then replaced it as I broke the cranks, with a new ACS, worked for about 6-7 months with only ONE skip. Then I went for a king, because I wanted a rear hub with round bearings for once, having used a locked out deore hub on the back. King has skipped a fair few times, but meh. FFW is cool as shit, but I don't want to sell my King because I like the colour and the fact that it stays put in the frame (hd axle).
  17. You can use spacers on axles. Isis axles are not tapered. I have been using a small spacer on the driveside for ages now, works dandy. Spacing square tapered axles is another story though... I made my own spacer for the axle. measures up at OD 24.1mm, ID 21.3mm and a thickness of 2mm.
  18. didn't I tell you to get Ribos, James? :$ They're the shizzle. Not much of an ankle support, but they're well comfy and stuff...
  19. soles wear quite fast on your lead foot.. depending on what type of pedals you have really.. cage pedals dig two trenches into the soles, while pin pedals dig holes. they last a fair while though, I'd say about a year or more on a pair.
  20. bought 2nd hand off tarty, who probably got them through danny butler at coustUK... i guess.
  21. ever tried a pair of trials shoes properly?
