learned wheelies on xc bike a few years back, used to go for miles.. can't go that far anymore though, it's not as fun.. learned manuals on the monty 219 i had, then over to the crescent and now coust. can go for ages if i get it right in th beginning, now without any fingers on the brakes either..

i used to ride 20:21 back in the day.. 2.5ft pedal ups and 5ft gaps 18:15 is the only way.

helly hansen for the win well good jacket, thoguh prety thin so you have to use something a bit warmer underneath.. does anything from rainy summer days to snow though. pretty pricey though.

because the only way to get decent qt (preferrably the new h264) quality is by exporting it in final cut pro, avaliable on macs only.. ive tried using quicktime pro, but i have yet not had any half-decent resuts of it.. it's weird, when looking at uncompressed dv in media player, it looks ace, but in QT it looks shoddy. if people learnt how to do it properly though, it'd be cool. people use wmv/mpg more often, because it's so much easier.. nowadays, there are plenty of divx/xvid tutorials out, so people start using that more frequently aswell.

many people that use the 50mm coust pads will recommend them. they're very good. heatsink blues aren't bad either.. plaz crm is a classic. koxx seem alright too. just pick one basically, they're all good.

you could say that about the ringdrive grease in king hubs aswell... i prefer the feel of water, though i am sure it will ruin my brake eventually.. i think i'll snap the lever or something before i kill the brake due to use of the wrong fluid. we trials riders are like that, we sacrifice some of the lifespan of our gear, for a performance boost out of it, it's just like drilling rims, using light oil in hubs, grinding rims etc.. but i do remember not having to rebleed as frequently when running magura blood. to be honest though, water feels so much nicer...
