hey i was finally arsed and i made the video i have been trying to make for a bit. some clips from bristol back in october somewhen, and rest from the area51 indoor park in göteborg, filmed over the chrimbo hols. 4 songs, under 4 minutes, dece riding by björn levin, peter bäckgren, johan brundin and me. please leave a comment. ps. music all round is a piss-take, but don't be afraid. those who've seen my prev. videos know that i make 'em strange. tried hopes on other people's bikes, have felt nice. my king has been ok, but not great. a bit of skippage, but it should be sorted now. i preferred my acs over the king though, but i am sure it'll change. it was just that my acs freewheels skipped only once.

you'd have to be a good rider to make up for the colour.. you'd look a right tit falling off that thing.

I removed my tensile driveside crank with a hammer after nick manning's crank puller tool raped the threads. crank has been off a few more times with the hammer, still fine, no play or creak. just go easy..

angles that make the subject look beautiful, no need to actually see how big something is, at least not in every shot. using objects, motions and symmetry in the surroundings to create transitions that are invisible, rather than just fading in/out. flow.

FW is not quicker, you can only capture video from DV tape cameras in real time. though it allows a larger amount of data to be transferred in the same time = better quality.

firewire is the type of connection between camera and computer, kind of. instead of USB basically. video generally looks better on a TV than a high res computer screen.

if worst comes to worst, pack the trials bike up in a big-ass bag. we have to do it here as bikes are banned on trains. works well, and if the train stations have lockers you can use or whatever, you can just leave the bag on the station. at least our stations usually have those kinds of lockers you put a coin in and you get to use it 'til a certain hour.. always a last refuge.

A flexible cover will rip pretty fast I think. And it won't stop the frame from denting. I'd personally not bother.

removing anodised finish with sandpaper = stupid. just dip her in caustic soda and you've saved 4 hours and 30 minutes.

sounds pretty sketch either way. just kidding about the brake.. although i didn't quite like your brake setup when i was over. i know they are loud, almost too loud. i want my brake to be quiet when it sqeaks, and squeaky when it's quiet. go figure.
