oil in the freewheel is the way to go. clean it, lube it, tighten and riiiide. my ACS used to make clunking noises.. i just kept on riding and it stopped.

everyone generalises a maggie down to a hs33. us trials riders are picky, we tend to go for the best stuff. xtr/sd7/ultimate, not alivio crap, or hs11 unless we're forced.

a vee brake can be more or less powerful than a magura. a vee is NOT worse than the maggie. coust material is awesome in whatever brake you put it. a coust vee brake with heatsink backings and adapters will be really good if you take your time setting it up, using good cable and good parts. don't skimp. though i've heard it's harder to get a good vee setup on a mod than a stock, due to massively wide tyres and chain tension adjustments via wheel movement.

you can just connect the speaker output to the microphone input. then disable the 'what you hear' audio from the microphone, ie so you can't hear what's being spoken or whatever into the mic. then use windows sound recorder or whatever to record. or you can open the file in a video editing program, find the clip, trim it, export the audio in mp3 or similar...

it works both ways. up is preferred but does not work on all chain/sprocket/frame combinations. for example, it won't work pushing upwards on a coust frame with 18:15 gearing..

a few drinks in social purposes is always nice. getting smashed is a completely different story. you'd have to be in a certain mood, really willing to let it all go and just go for gold. it can be hilarous if you're a few people doing it, not as fun doing it on your own. drinking is weird for me, either makes me fairly happy or really, really depressed.

did you know that the active ingredient in the coke is the same as the cillit bang? so my wild guess was actually fairly correct, although the bang is a lot more concentrated..

just get some white electrical tape or something. i used clear plastic tape and paper, means you can have patterns aswell. i had a burberrry rim tape before.

get a 36h dx32 and be happy. they're great rims, really underrated. everyone will run them in the summer of '06 when they finally realized they were THE trials rim.
