    Summer Plans

Leaving college forever on friday next week! Then it'll be work for a month, then possibly try to fly out to England for a bit of riding fun again.. After that, possibly work some more, and enjoy the last summer with the gang, although i'm falling out with most of my mates at the moment... After that, it'll hopefully be Uni in Gothenburg in august/september.
  3. Unscrew the lockring on the back side of the crank with a nail and hammer. Or do like me, just try to remove the pedal and the insert will come out, it always does for me!
  4. haha, I can see it in front of me, wayne's brake exploding. windshield wiper fluid is the way forwards by the way. it's blue and it smells good!
  5. Bittornado ***. only torrent client i get decent speeds with on this machine, up to about a meg a second. dc++ for music, it's the bomb if you've got some good hubs and a decent share....
  6. didnt Plazmatic use to call their pads (pre crm days) Citric?
  7. it made me go out and ride natural for 2 hours. well done lads.

    Tonight.

    sleep early probably. mehh
  10. I had CRV on a black rim. It was as loud as my trials brake is now, it was horrible!
  11. i taste it. should be a tiny bit harder than what you want it to be. pour all the water off, add butter/oil to lube, let sin in bowl or saucepan for a minute with the added lubrication. then enjoy. i cant believe that people rinse the pasta in cold water after boiling, it's stuuuupid. pasta should be nice and steaming, and saaaalty!
  12. The Henrik who shot my picture was standing 30ft away with his 80-200 tele lense.
  13. Hiding all desktop items helps loads too...
  14. The BMF/DX32 is the strongest 'cheese' rim out. I suppose you could use a Sun Doublewide (Ali C used one, as did Whiteboy?), but I hear they're heavy. I'd just try and be smoother, I've yet to dent my try-all...
  15. first learn how to just glance the wall with any pedalling tech, for example the bad-good. then start working up to about 42-43". then you'll realize that your technique is shite (this is normal), then you'll have to relearn the whole thing, with hitting lower and using 3/4 or full pedal rotation. This is what i did. I was stuck on a tad under 42" for almost a year, then i relearnt the tap altogether. Just give it time, that's the most important thing. Taps are weird, but keep at it. At first, you'll almost manual into the tap. It's easier than pedalling all the way into the tap (at first anyways). A low front end really helps tapping, I remember flipping my stem while learning taps, just to get the hang of it..
  16. You still need the King tool to take the bearings, drive and driven rings and spring out. With allen keys, you can get the axle and driveshell out, and with a little effort, you can get the hub fairly clean without fully dismantling it. Grease is a no-no for King hubs, except in the bearings. Thin oils or spray lubricants seem to work. I've tried Finishline wet XC lube, WD40 and Weldtite TF2 spray in my hub.
  17. i laughed lots and stopped watching at about 00:20.

    Nicknames

everyone does call him fatmike, which feels a bit wrong as he's not even fat, hah.
  19. that is because they were crap. i enjoyed them, good work. :$
  20. as i said on msn, all the fisheyed stuff was a bit choppy. otherwise, pretty good. better than you riding on your backyard fountain for half an hour editing was alright. some of the flashy text bits were kind of hard to read because they were flashy and in an awkward font. a loud brake is what im missing.
  21. be careful when stripping it, the bearings love to hide under the fridge. they're loads too. when you're done, get it welded shut to stop it coming loose.

    Pad Reviews

Pads: Coust on alu backings Time Used: Since september i think Rim Used: tryall Grind: Medium Ceramic: No Tar: No Previous Pads Used: Koxx browns, heatsink of various models, plaz crm/spanish fly, monty milk/x-lite, etc. How you like your brake: Working Coust pads lock up and make a crazy sound with a decent grind in any weather. Almost too loud for me, and thats on a tryall rim. they dont wear much either. tried some brown bloxx on my rim yesterday too. despide the fact that the grind is a month or something old, and has been ridden a bit, the bloxx worked well. not nearly as grabby as my cousts but a lot quieter but still decent enough.
