You may have to trim the pads down a little, but it's a no brainer. Also, if you can, clean the pads and backings before gluing. I use paint thinner.

Get an aluminium pipe with outer diameter of 8mm and inner diameter between 5.1 and 6mm and hacksaw some up. Probably cheaper, and you can get the perfect length for your brake set-up (xtr boosters require long spacers when ran with alu backings for example, unless you wanna file the booster). sorted.

when I sent mine away (in sweden) the processs was like this with UPS: I recieved a box, inside the box were some instructions, a big UPS bag, a sticker that said "void if broken" or whatever, and the paper thing with apple's address and shizzle on. i put the address sticker on the ups bag, put the ipod in the box and then called the supplied number (in the instructions) and ordered a pick up of the item. but in order for ups to guarantee everything is cool, the courier has to see the ipod inside the box in the bag, so dont put the sticker on. the courier came round my house, saw the ipod in the box, stuck the sticker on the box, put the box in the bag, sealed the bag, had me sign about a million places and off he went. that's how it works over here anyway, and i'm pretty sure it's similar in the UK, seeing as UPS are kind of big. all of this was in the instructions anyway...

I use a very thin metal cutting disc. It gives a fine, shallow and VERY sharp grind, good for coust pads for example. In my experience, a cutting disc gives a sharper grind, while a grinding (thicker) disc gives a deeper grind with bigger lines but less sharpness.. I'd go metal cutting, I like mine.
