mavic rims hold grinds the best. dx32 is second, and tryall rims hold grinds the least amount of time, in my experience. still, i only have to grind a handful of times per year with my tryall.. good pads work on dead grinds too.

also, new pics next week when i get some stuff i ordered. might be able to get it lighter, want it sub 11kgs at least.

I've been a bit out of touch with the trials bar market the last few years so I figured I could post. I'd like a new set of bars for my bike, to replace the 3 year old tryall yourself replicas i have now. Not broken or anything, just a bit creaky and Very old for a set of tryalls. I'd rather not get a new stem (i like my Thomson) so I'd ideally want a set of 25.4 mm bars. What can I get?

it's funny. the first coust was a light comp frame and has lasted me over 2 1/2 years. i expect this to be really durable when ridden correctly, ie not tapping to downtube on rails all the time. looks great i think, though the orange is a bit too much for me. i'm still a LLS guy.

i have been using soundsticks for about 10 months now i think. excellent sound, lots of bass if wanted. design is really nice. lacks real punch at higher levels, doesn't cut through ambient noise (like a loud party) as well as bigger speakers, but for anything less than a big party they're really good.
