  1. rear maggie is easy to get working well. easy to adjust, doesn't snap most frames. gives solid on/off braking. front disc for modulation, consistency and silence.
  2. it's nearly 4 am now. fancy dress halloween whatever party. me and a mate went as mormons. properly suited up with name tags and everything. we ended up completely pwning the piano, doing some crazy crucifiction dance moves, we spoke in tongues, had spastic fits on the floor, read from the bible, etc. fooled loads of people, as we looked legit. it was funny.

    Tensiles!

It's true though. My tensiles are like 200 years old (first gen) and I didn't even buy them new...
  4. Good stuff! Great to see you back on a real bike again. I can't even remember the feeling of a new trials bike. Mine's over 3 years old now.
  5. for the love of god biggus, make a neater tensioner! looks spectacular.
  6. flip4mac is decent for wmv in quicktime. i think it works for vlc also.

  10. friday take the bus to my old home town, about 3 and a half hours. saturday no idea. sunday no idea monday go home to gothenburg again i think.
  11. is the first one a megamo equip there thom?
  12. CNC is not exactly a material though. I'd never buy this rim tape.
  13. Everything depends on what kind of job you are applying for. I'm sure a photography company, or an engineering one wouldn't give two shits if you have metal in your face. Honestly, that whole argument feels a bit 90's to me...
  14. Joining the chan properly, cleaning, lubing and checking it frequently is kind of mandatory in a sport like trials... A Kool lasts me over a year, they don't snap, I replace them every year or so...
  15. My '73-'74 Sigma L6-S. Brilliant japanese lawsuit copy of a not so popular Gibson model. 2 Bill Lawrence-type pups, 6-way switch for lots of sounds. All maple. My build project; a 1969 Les Paul Jr with double cutaway. It's probably going to end up being sprayed in cherry clear coat. Body is american ash, neck is maple. Need to: -Shape neck -Shape neck pocket -Drill and mill for bridge and pup -Drill for tuners -A LOT of sanding and spraying.
  16. the best episode of pacific blue is the one where palermo is feeling really old and invites his friend hansjörg rey to teach him some stunts. ends up with palermo learning pedal kicks and does a 270 off a car roof and stops the bad guy. i used to watch PB religiously when i was younger. it was always on at 5 past 5pm on swedish channel 5.
  17. that's where i snapped my bb7. ps peter, i left my band yesterday because i am bored with them. next week and onwards i will be able to ride because i will not be a lazy student anymore.
  18. The mastersound hihats are most likely A Customs. The ride is from the A-Zildjian series, one of very few A cymbals to come in brilliant finish. The Oriental Crash of Doom is from the FX series with red logo. Rest is K/K Custom as it says, all Zildjian too. sound clips: 14" A Custom Mastersound Hihat 11" K Custom Hybrid Splash 20" K Crash Ride 22" K Ride 21" A Sweet Ride in Brilliant Finish 20" FX Oriental Crash of Doom Questions?
  19. nothing will ever beat the burberry rim tape i had about 3 years ago.
  20. bump. someone's getting a bit good.
  21. i'd go with the big betty and the dh tube. i very rarely pinch my betty with welterweight tube. i am quite smooth though, but i guess you can be harsher with a thicker tube.
  22. The GooeyGluey compound is VERY sticky, definitely adequate for trials...
  23. King hub + fixed front sprocket is lighter than most fixed rear hubs + front freewheels...
