bit of an a custom fan? about dw/ocdp/any american "custom" company; you'll hardly get your money's worth. Sure, dw have their own shells, but they used to have Keller shells, which (as you may know) most of the american "custom" companies use, like ocdp, pork pie, etc. Keller shells are not very expensive, you're just paying for the name. They do sound REALLY good though, so don't be put of. I'm just weird about drums. saw a dw collector's kit at a local drum shop few weeks ago, in red sparkle wrap. looked fine until i saw the seam on the wrap; it was SHOCKING. nice setup you've got though! VERY good choice on getting great cymbals before a good kit. it's all good with good heads and a bit of tuning.
