    Uci?

Yes, rules. Competition rules. Not styles, bikes or a new way of living. Simply competition rules.
  3. Are you coming out on your cycle this evening as well, or just the Friday?
  4. Video sounds good. If you mean the Tranz-X style skewers that do up with a 5mm allen key, then you need something strong to grip the allen bolt end, so that the 'washer' bit clamps onto the bolt itself. Then twist. You could start off mole-grips/pliers and then perhaps move on to an angle-grinder/hammer...
  5. How does one 'bang' headphones on? Are you coming D-L-B?
  6. Super sexy bike - really like it. Bet it'll be fun to ride too. Just out of interest, what were the 'adapters' for? Not a lot. Warranty only covers manufacturing defects. Jon Fisher's has started going there as well...
  7. I'll make sure we wait. Do you have someone's mobile number in case of delayed trains, etc?
  8. The Rat Strikes Back. Build your bike up Adam. Coming out to play on Friday? You'd better have it done by then.
  9. Yeah shortest spokes for the drive side, since 'offset' of flange from centre line of rim is less.
  10. Can I be lazy and ask what I'd need for.... Chris King rear / Koxx Try-All Hope XC 6-bolt front / Koxx Try-All Both 3x and 32H Thanks peeps.
  11. 270/271 is too long. Go with Adam's answer.
  12. Wayne, who won the Masters this time?
  13. The 9:25 from Blackpool gets to Liverpool at 10:52. That's as close to 11:25 as you'll get. Takes an hour and twenty seven minutes. The Trainline Dot Com If I can get the time off work (I'll know by 5pm today) I'll PM you my number.
  14. At the south entrance to the station (off platform through ticket barriers, then head left towards pick-up point) there is a big brick thing with a red BR logo (zig-zag thing) on top. That's the best place to meet, as you can ride there too.

  16. Mr Fisher!!! Been meaning to give you a phone call. You back in Liverpool now then? Hopefully I'll see you Friday.
  17. For those interested in street art, Tristan Manco's 'Street Logos' book is well worth buying.
  18. I always found them good to use. Cheap too.
  19. You might need to buy a firewire card if you don't have a firewire port already...
  20. Yeah, try holding 'Fn' and pressing 'Num Lk'/'Num Lock'
  21. Hope Mill, Skipton Road, Barnoldswick Lancashire, United Kingdom BB18 6EN About 5-7 quid.
  22. Chain Reaction sell pawls and springs for about 15 quid a set. Alternatively you could send the wheel to Hope. Sending a wheel is better as they can replace the ratchet ring. Last time I sent a hub on its own it was immediately returned with a note saying that they can't replace the internals unless the wheel is built (they need something to grab when twisting out the ratchet ring). Don't bother phoning or trying to 'blag'. Just send them the wheel. They pay return postage.
  23. See how it rides with a rigid fork on it.
  24. You should learn turning towards your front foot. Then you can hook your rear foot under the chainstay - that sometime helps. Also if you land with the bars turned 'ahead' of you, then your body naturally wants to straighten up and back end swings round. Then hop again and turn the bars again....
  25. iTunes has a library file that tells it where the files are kept. Can't remember the name, but you might have deleted/moved it. There are programs that can copy music off the iPod, but the file quality won't be as good because the files are compressed when they are put onto the iPod. Best bet is to try adding all your files back into iTunes from wherever they are kept on your hard drive.
