By putting the sub in the corner you can alter the bass, giving it more "punch". Also, if its an actual sub, as opposed to a central low frequency speaker, then it would be better to have it on the floor, not on the cabinet, which i THINK you have done?

Recently, Ive lost ALL respect for the police. Not for trials, but for driving related stuff. Ive been driving since august, and already been pulled 5 times. Fair enough, one time was for a rear light which was out. The other 4 times, im still trying to think now why I was stopped. I got stopped twice in 3 days. The last time was the final straw. I was parked up!!! Trying to find my bearings as I was lost. Flashing lights behind me and I got the 3rd degree. THEN my fingerprints were taken!!!! Which they are not allowed to do. The police treat young drivers like shit and its getting very boring having to spend a hour at the police station every week producing my documents. Between driving and trials, ive found there are VERY few sound police. Most of them see how old you are and try and take you for a ride. Dicks

Think my biggest measures at 7ft 11in, this was totally out of my reach for AGES and then suddenly one day I just did it first go :o Would probably take me a while to get back into that sort of gapping now. Although 7ft is pretty comfortable to do now and doesnt cause much trouble

I had a love/hate relationship with mine. I got mine dirt cheap and was insistant on the fact that it wasnt the levers that were faulty and leaked it was the people using them. Boy was I wrong. No ammount of polishing of the cylinder worked and also one day, due to a frankly disgusting king slip :- the carbon body shattered. After a while trying it again, I got fed up and just sold it

99.9% sure its graphics card drivers as mentioned ^^^ Same thing happened to bongo when he formatted (when I say "he" I mean I sat there TWICE for 3hrs at a time doing it :- cos hes a mong)

Im a little confused, im guessing on "surround sound" the same audio signal goes to all speakers (except sub) but it just immerses you in sound more? Unlike on a 5.1 system where each speaker has certain channels which it responds to and therefore each speaker will create a different soundstage giving depth and distance? Is that right? (tomm? lol)

Can you get us pics of the wiring etc?

Whats the difference between 4 point surround sound and 5.1? I thought 5.1 was just 2 rear, 2 front and a centre speaker (ie. the sub) ?
