Hmmmm what kind of riding do you do? Ive had that setup ALOT of times. Rim wrangler pads, whilst being the best "standard" pad are not powerful enough in my experience. They dont have a good bite and go shitty after a while. Im currently, and have been using for a year, a XT lever, xtr cable xtr caliper and spanish fly pads. Its probably the strongest Vee ive ever used, but some people wont like the slightly mushy feel of the fly pads. The bite is shocking though. It gets to the point where sometimes you cant slow down going down a hill. Every now and again it loses its bite, and I simply spit once either side of the rim, ride round for 2 secs and its bitey again. Ive never cleaned my rim etc

Id forgotten all about meccano! The original! I had a set of the stuff with a motor etc and it was such a beast. But the nuts were really easy to lose if i remmeber. Btw stage one of the rollcoaster is complete, stage 2 commences tonight

Ill admit, I loved all the technics stuff even though I never actually had any! But have you ever seen the rollercoaster up and running....?! its a sheer beast. The other advantage with K'nex was it wasnt fragile like lego and you could lash cars down the stairs etc and they would laugh it off!

Me and anal have just been discussing the joys we had with lego etc all through childhood and realised we still love it now. We intend to build up my K'nex rollercoaster which takes about 3 months and is huge! Do you still have love for this "toy" and have you any pics etc?!

Cant beat all the usuals: Blow Catch me if you can American history x pulp fiction get shorty trainspotting goodfellas seven etc etc but knowing you, you will see that list of good films and then not get a single one :ermm: Gummy slag

Not being funny, but your question just sounds ludacris to anyone here who values a good brake. It wont work. It will be good for 2 seconds then will go shitty again. Either use a clean rim, or a grind. Even with a clean rim and some good pads, you will never have the same hold as with a grind. Stop being a fag and go out and buy a grinder

Age gaps matter MUCH more at our age. The person who said ^ you change alot when 15/16/17 was right. If she was 16 and you were 18, id say it was just acceptable. Intresting this is..... When I was 14 I got "pissed" a few times and the next day was absolutely fine. Now this bears the question, are you actually immune to hangovers when your 14 (unlikely :o" ) OR did you not actually know what being totally f**ked is....hmmm In the last year or so Ive actually amazed myself at how longs its taking to get pissed. When I first started going out to bars and clubs, we would go out sober to the pub for a bit first, then go on to a bar/club, wasted, get food, a taxi and it would cost me £30 ish. These days We always drink in someones house first, usually polish off a good helping of vodka, go out already pretty pissed and then spend £40 when out?!??!?! Wtf went wrong! lol Going on holiday with mates doesnt help either, last sumer went ot magalouf and theres a club. BCM which is MASSIVE (3 floors with SIX bars on each floor!!!) and it was 20 Euros in with unlimited free drinks till 6am!!!! Needless to say, came home, went out, drank and nothing was happening :S Devastated lol Ibiza this year....only gonna get worse :)
