It depends whether you mean old diesels, or new diesels. Diesel cars that are less than 3ish years old are good. Well turbo diesels anyway. The are cheaper to run and have good performance. to be honest a petrol car with less than 200bhp is gonna be slower than that then aswell aint it, makes no difference if its diesel

What effect does this have? When adjusting virtual memory should i only adjust the current value to something under the max value? And is it better to use the driver which windows is on or my music/video hard drive for the virtual mem?

You wouldnt ever turn normally again, back end would be out on every corner lol

Even with a UN52 your not safe At least where yours snapped it was a nice clean cut and inside the BB shell. Ive had 2 UN52s go within 6 months and one was a 8ft drop. Landed the drop, it sheared off and left the sharpest most evil looking protruding part possible. could have been very nasty ive had gone down my leg

Yeah Id be getting the hatcback instead. Are there any hatchback diesel focus' with 6 gears? Makes motorway driving far more cost effective lol. Just need something which will cruise at 80/85mph whilst being easy on the juice. So i think I need that 6th gear really
-
My uncle works for ford :D I knew that lol
-
How you know it has 135bhp then? You had it RR'ed??? I was thinking about focus' for my next car. Wont be till around crimbo time like but was just considering it. Needs to be good for the motorway miles so was thinking about the 1.9tdci ones. But I dunno how insurance would like that. Defo need a more efficient car for when im travelling further next yeah.
-
135bhp as standard from 1.8?!?! shit the bed The fezzy 1.6 sport only has 105bhp!!!
-
Just thought id add, theres merc slr in liverpool............ Drove past it the other day a jesus, its stunning. Not slow either.........
-
Sorry to kill your dream but the Bose car sound systems are hoop lol Well of course they are better than "standard" systems, but for the price they cost you could get a WAAAAAAAAAAAY better custom system. Audi is defo the new BMW

Im in love with the S3 ;)

What is it about sea fronts that attract these tits? Southport near me is a seaside place, and its FULL of them. 1.0/1.1/1.2 corsas/puntos/206s all covered in plastic crap/fat exhausts/shit sony stereos. Whats the deal? Although last night i was at maccys there and saw a guy with a P reg MINT imperial blue 360bhp cossie ;) Lets just say it put everything to shame. And guess what, the exterior was standard............

And of course when you put this 2.0l lump in your car, your getting bigger front discs and a rear disc conversion ye? And a new gearbox? Torsion bars etc to stop the engine ripping the chassis apart? And everything else you will need for that conversion? Just sounds stupid to me. A car with a engine coversion is frowned upon by the DVLA and will cost you more on insurance than a actual 2.0l car.

Yeah as you say, sony headunits arnt the worst out there. But their also no longer the best for the money. The major problem I found with the MP3 factor of sony hu's is that they dont play wma's. Not a total loss as wma files are crap, but if alot of your music on PC is wma then you have problems. I was making mp3 CDs and the odd song was missing here and there, was confusing but they were wma's. Sony speakers are unforgiveable though. Unless there is no alternative, ie due to mounting depth or diameter which you cant change, there should be no need to buy sony. I only spent £50 on front JBL components, and while not the best in the world, they had a decent bass output for a pair of comps which is what i needed due to no sub and standard rears.
-
to be honest I dont really might performance upgrades. Air filters etc give a smoother feel etc as do full exhaust systems. But what I can stand is shitty back boxes, crappy lights, stickers, pieces of plastic and other shite stuck to it. And as for sony car audio, its simply terrible. Well especially the Xplod stuff. Ive currently got a Sony CDX-M880 head unit and it isnt THAT bad, but thats only cos I didnt pay for it. It was a £250 head unit which I got for free, if i was paying that for a HU it would be alpine all the way or even a nice Pioneer. Can I just ask what made you buy those 6x9s?
-
You have done all that to a 1.0l corsa lmao Let me guess you have those 6x9s but havent replaced the fronts? And your keeping the 6x9s with your sub, yes? lol

This seems to definately be a grey area. Dan Ko has BLATENTLY done numerous things in the passed to qualify for warnings. Phil is right though, Selectbikes.com and Tartybikes are plastered everywhere. Pretty much every zoo and echo frame will have come from them, not to mention all the parts. Being one of phils mates, knowing that he does a good service to people, and to no benefit to myself, I could go into every product topic and put "Buy it from selectbikes" etc. And where would things stand on that? Most people know I ride with phil, and I buy things from him and want his shop to do well. But if he doesnt ask or tell me to post positve comments for him then im ok? Doesnt seem like this is actually a solveable problem

Anyone intrested? £50 a ticket or all 4 for £190 Posting it here btw, as its a sorta chit chat thing imo
