Id always say go for the largest mids you can fit, and please do not buy rear speakers, we have been through this a million times on here. Its chavvy, sounds shit, and money is much MUCH better spent elsewhere. The infinity reference and vibe ones are probably the best that halfords do to be honest

Id say get your speakers from halfords as they are less overpriced than the head units, which are robbery. What size mids are standard in your car? I assume the speakers in the dash are tweeters? Ebay is 100% your best bet for a head unit, they loose value as soon as you buy them. Stick with alpine or pioneer and dont worry too much about mp3 player connection as long as it plays mp3s

yeah ive tried that unfortunately Tried unplugging everything out of the tv except the pc cable. Also, on my Nvidia properties, the tv shows up as a device??? SO the pc knows its there. Wtf???

My Tv out has always worked fine (once i got it working in the first place!) I dot know whats happened but now when i go to play something on tv or clone my desktop/extend it etc, the screen just flickers. Somethings defo happening as it flickers and jumps a little when you try to play a file on tv. Its connected via a S-video/S-video cable with a s-video/phono adapter at the tv end. The phono input on the tv defo works. Any ideas??? I dont know why its stopped working

Dont get me wrong, there is a time and a place for big high powered subs and lots of them. But they are usualyy accompanied by a high quality and equally high powered front end, something i dont think you have to be honest

Right, you currently have a one preout headunit. Which would suggest that you dont have your front comps amped (if you have even changed them?!?!?) and you probably dont have a very good head unit? So why oh WHY have you bought 2 subs, now sold them, and are buying two more bigger subs?!?! One 15 will hold enough power and drop low enough for your setup I garantee you. f**k me one 12 would suit you better! What front speakers etc do you have? Whats your full system? You really need to have a think what your doing!

In my apprenticeship scheme at British Aerospace, 63/65 of the apprentices are all lads. Im the oldest there at 19.... So everyones passing their test and being on reasonable money, which increases steeply. There are alot of young lads with relatively powerful cars. So our work sends everyone to a Drive To Survive course in the local constabulary. I tell you, you see some horrific pics and vids on it. They said that when your about to crash, a driver will steer away from the thing their about to hit instinctively meas the passeger usually hits first meaning they are hurt and the driver is not. So so common. And horrifying.

There are people here who are all into cars/rc cars/audio/bmx etc and as I dont ride trials anymore, would never look in the for sale section for such items, thus why i posted it here first, as people not looking for bike parts wouldnt see it in the for sale section

All sorted I had the jump lead on when I wasnt meant to, by doing so i restricted the drive to 32gb?! God knows why you would ever want that but oh well, thanks people

How do I do that??? Surely If I right click the black line for Un-allocated space and create a partition, i will just be in the remainder of that drive?

Right the wide thin (assuming its IDE?) cable is one cable which splits into 2, one into each HD. so any ideas why its not wokring???

I have a 70gb hard drive in my pc Just installed a 200gb samsung drive. Putting the jump lead o it to SL for slave In bios its come up on its own as primary slave? Is this correct or should I have it as secondary primary? Problem is, it shows up in device manager as working fine but its not in my computer etc so i cant use it?
