as you are getting monty rims, you could file the square holes out bigger, saving abit of weight, and strip the paint off. if you get wellgo mg-1 pedals with a ti axel,they weigh somthing like 150g each . if you get a king, ti bolts would save alot of weight, and prehaps a ti singlespeed cog. alloy crank bolts, foam grips,

it could be somthing to with it being a font 160 caliper, rar calipers are normally +20, so a 160 rear calliper on the back would be a 180 on the fronr, and a front 160 on the rear would be a 140, so prehaps that could be it, you cant run magura disk leavers upside down

to stop th mech slapping, either zip tie it to the chainstay, or put a washer between the mech and the hanger, thiss will lock it out, and stop slap when your cranks go stiff, are they stiff forwards and backwards, or just forward?... if its forward it could be a bearing gone in your hub, if its both ways, it may be your freewheel or bb,,

cyano acrilate (super glue ) epoxy resin will hold the pads in, but dosnt actually stick to the pad material, it just peels off, where as superglue will stick to both surfaces
