  3. wow! what an inspiring video! And, once again, your bike fits you perfectly (like in the MBK-days)! here comes my tech question: Is that the size of a video which comes out of a 0.8mp 16/9 MiniDV cam? I thinking about buying one of those...
  4. looks... similar? and still really great!

looking great... everything is that an up or a gap in the last pic? edit: seems like its the same move like in the third from the bottom... so: nice gapage
  6. i see a disc brake, cage pedals, stickies and forxx which aren't the lightest allthough some friends of mine have sub 9.5 bikes with big disc brakes + some other "heavy" parts like trialtech bars in the end, gilles bike will have around 9kg after all the drilling etc.
  7. honestly... i dont know this would be such a du bushing thing http://www.ecplaza.net/tradeleads/seller/5...shing.html#none looks more like a bearings shell to me cartridge bearing is one wide spreaded term
  8. Does anyone know the size of the MG-1 bearings and maybe a shop to get them from (if they are something special) ? thx guys!
  9. doesn't really help, but thanks i guess they raised the weight a little bit?
  10. nooooooooooo i thought i'd be the only 19 years old in this thread!
  11. i got it in a local bike store (which is actually called bike store ) It's a Ti alloyed Alligator 180mm Windcutter rotor. There are a few other brands which sell these rotors under their name, but i haven't seen those gold models from another brand.
  12. my old 06.5 Echo Lite has done an amazing job but here i am, back on the white side: enough new space to bash: my front:

  17. wow! those rear rims look great whats your first impression of the Echo stuff? solid bike.
  18. thanks images link you to bigger versions!
  19. well, actually i was referring to my friend's one. Wenn he first mounted it one of the pads exploded during the first ride. He bought new ones. Never had enough power. he got it serviced by hope at a bike fair: new disc, new pads (at least they were for free). after a few months one the left piston stuck and his front brake became louder than his rear brake. He sent it to Hope. they serviced the brake...at least they wrote so in an email. When he got it back the piston was ok, but the brake was leaking at the bottom. oil got on the pads => pads damaged. on the other hand i have seen way more Hopes which work great than weak ones.
  20. i love my Louise FR (Performance of course) + Shimano Deore/XT Lever + 180mm Windcutter disc there is no lever which is more ergonomic. little brake history from a friend of mine: Louise FR 203mm => bad Hope Trial 06' 180mm => worst brake ever Avid Juicy Seven (recently) => better than the Hope, but still very weak i guess there is no ultimative disc out there (if you dont want something with more than 2 pistons)
  21. lets hear some! woody stairs outdoor: Nikon D300 70-200; 16-85 Cactus Trigger SB800 indoor: Nikon d40 18-55 Cactus Trigger/SC-17 Sync Cable Metz AF 48
  22. like tra mentioned: Win XP isnt able to handle more RAM than 3,5GB. i highly recommend at least a dual core CPU for full HD. Our top PC's at school have Vista/Quad Core/4GB and no problem with full HD. BTW: there is a (free) plugin for Premiere 1.5 which allows you to edit HD clips. i tried to edit some (not full) HD clips on my notebook Win XP/Centrino/1GB and it worked (not well though)
