  2. heres a old frame i resprayed looks ok for a spray can job i think
  3. instead of making a frame why not think of a trials training aid instead not too many of those about were as there are 100s of frame designs
  4. [attachmentid=7842] [attachmentid=7843] [attachmentid=7844]

    Bt Raven 7.0

i left bikedock 6 months ago and started my own shop riverside cycles so doubt they will be doing any serious trials stuff anymore plus i tried to get of rav before and had and order then my boss never give me the funds sorry about that one rav my hands were tied hence one of the reasons for leaving maybe next year i want a free tax year for me first year
  7. good rant man having used just about every combo of rim,pad andwith and without tar i couldn't agree more there is no magic pad that solves all your problems everybody situation is different and what works for one person with the same parts wont be the same for another otherwise we would all be world champs by now
  8. sounds sensible air compressors always have water in them toowhat is this water called i woder ? I am not that up on all the tech terms for this compression talk but i also thought a compensator/splitter and some deionised water would be worth a try but to be honest never had a problem with my maguras when they are bled right they work fine and i don't think i will bother i would say a tred about lazy cylinder action would be another one for a good rant
  9. quite right but be careful you don't let too much grime, dirt dust etc into now that their is no seal as it will affect the freewheel mat cause skipping and the freewheel to clog up a bit
  10. the opposite threads seems a good idea wonder if it will tighten up instead will be good to have more variety of trials specific freewheels
  11. bases new rims are dx 32 and are avaialble drilled with eyelets now they were made special click the banner for more detail or check with alex or base
  12. quite right man there are no rights and wrongs only results I sidehop more accurate to left but can get as high to the right both wheels and to pedal etc there are great advantages doing both ways especially if you ride comps I would image its a great help
  13. base bikes use them and now there is a drilled dx32 by alex with eyelets etc
  14. dt hugi did yellow though they where expensive and also powdercoated i think err acor or base screw on combos only ones i can think of that are available between £10 £20 I think
  15. that is the steerer tube size where your stem clamps steerer it will 28.6mm usually refered to as 1"1/8th ahead bar clamp refers to clamp size on stem holding your bars in place the thickness of the centre of your bar may 25.4mm or 28.6mm or 31.8mm in diamter once you now this it will be clear what stem choices are available sorry some spec1 bikes had different sizes hope this helps
