I don't believe it will rot them only slip past it slightly , as water is immensel thin compared to mineral oil and as maguras weren't designed for them then they will always be slight problems

Normally the charger units have limiters on them to stop them from burning out , It may be a faulty battery in any case contact the supplier and get a new one sent out ... Just out of curiosity what make is it ?

Is it a new battery or second hand ? I had this many times , usually means people havent charged it properly and have also not let it drain. Just order a new batter if its old if not then get it under warranty or treat your batteries better.

Dv is always interlaced which is the source , well spotted though , I must admit at early hours of the morning and half way through a clients project I didnt pay enough attention to it. I do think it could have been improved with some better angles and a tripod as handheld video is hard to get right. Over all the riding was good though and I would love one of them bikes dont take these comments to heart.
