Not a lot but it had the access codes to a local bank in it and some other important information! I think I was just used as a role model to the other kids...
Can't believe I've just seen this. I used to have a cut-out from MBUK on my wall for years with a photo of him and the other competitors in the Hop Idol competition. My thoughts go out to all his family and friends.
Classics! I still have these on my PC somewhere. I hate to say it but these REALLY were the good old days of trials....lots of variation, bikes with seats, short frames, well made videos </nostalgia>

I have resisted saying anything here but can't hold it in.
When I see people such as that in the photo I cannot help but feel very sorry for them. They are such a victim of fashion, there is no other reason why you would do that to yourself. Now, if this gives you more confidence/self-esteem then that's great but there's other ways to be accepted socially.
(I am aware I'm opening myself up for flaming here)

RS have trade counters you can collect from. Looks like the Bristol or Somerset store would be closest to you... http://uk.rs-online.com/web/generalDisplay.html?id=branchNetwork
Will have a look at the schematic in a sec.
It's for a "Micromouse" autonomous robot... The reason the dimensions are weird is that I originally designed it to be made out of aluminium angle, which I am now going back to, but also because the motors and wheels are all in imperial measurements.
Should look something like this when it's done (the green chassis is a PCB).
This is what I thought. The main problem is I require a tight tolerance on everything and there's no way it could be made from two parts. I did wonder about having a similar part machined from some aluminium angle (probably wouldn't be wise to attempt the two extruded rings around the two holes in the main plate). On second thoughts, if I were to reduce the length of the two 'tabs' to say one bolt hole then that would reduce waste considerably...
With the possibility of coming across as an old man I would question whether university is right for you? University is not a ticket to a job (so many people forget this). It is particularly important nowadays to work as hard as possible (both in AND out of uni) to really shine above the rest.
Just my two cents as they say.
