Just been reading up, it looks like ill be needind a 'thread chaser' which inserts into the lathe???

It looks like 22mm with a rule but I dont have a micrometer handy at the moment (or my work to check!)

Just looked, its a 1.00mm pitch thread. Ill just double check diameter.

Thats the problem I dont think theres a big enough die....Errm the diameter is 20mm off the top of my head but I could well be very wrong!

Hey for part of a school project I have created a crank extractor (well nearly). Now I have done my research and I know creating the outer thread on the tool which turns into the crank is going to be quite difficult as it is too large to be tapped using a die. The thread needs to be cut on a lathe but my teacher said its a bit complicated for GCSE hehe. :S" Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of this?? I can get the measurements of the thread (pitch etc). Thanks for any help at all, Dave

Since last night I have lost all signal to my mobile (nokia 3200) downstairs. When I go upstairs I get a signal but its not as strong as before. Im wondering if just an antena's gone down or something? Basically Is there any way to make some sort of a 'Signal Booster' or dont these work. (Maybe some foil or something lol) Thanks Dave

Well ill be using it for general use and a bit of gaming (Mohaa etc) Can semprons be easily overclocked? Ive heard most motherboards dont recognise them until you flash the bios...

Im looking to build a cheapish pc just for messing about on and im wondering if semprons are all that bad? There pretty cheap compared to athlon bartons etc but ive noticed there only 256k fsb. WHats the main differences between athlons and semprons. Also ive looked at the new 'Celeron D's'. I wouldnt touch a celeron with a barge pole last time but the new ones look 'ok'.Any help much apreciated. Thanks Dave

Hey, I'm really getting into sidehops now. Started to learn them properly and there getting better. I have an old style echo stem at the moment (It wasnt made for long, its a medium-ish length but has quite a bit of rise) its got a lot more rise then the new ones. Just wondering how this effects sidehops? If it does at all? Thanks, Dave
