  1. Been running my bikes with DIY tensioner to get rid of the loose/tight chain situation. Minimal on brand new chains and becomes noticeable after months. I wanted to use chain tugs only but I really hate the loose part when it slaps into the chainstays I can remember I do change my chains once it breaks: 1 year (KMX710) 10 months (KMC710SL) 8 months (z1ehx) and now this is about 5 months (z1ehx did not break yet). Should I prepare backup now, or better safe than sorry? Surely, I don't really know I broke chains faster each year. I am using steel chain ring and rear cog almost new as I took that video. Those shouldn't be oval guess. 11042025xx2.mp4
  2. stuck on this part.... 07042025B.mp4
  3. We will see after my night shift week.... break 1, send 2.... Nice!
  4. I am still trying to figure out how to time precisely doing gaps on a ledge. And I still have in my mind that multiple incidents where I gap on ledge with pefect chain breaks..... I will do try to improve my ways..... By the way, EXTENTION just sent me 2 pieces of freehub for free.... Seems glorious yet I am curious.... Thanks for the inputs guys!
  5. I am just an old fat, short, heavy weight, late boomer learner.... Just trying to progress...
  6. Yes, i made one. Just enough tension to get rid of chain slack. Too tight and I can't crankflip, too loose and it slaps on the chain stays. No chain tensioner; loose/tight chain issues.
  7. the hub is I assumed well sealed. Things that I feared on my experience now; freewheels made from steel hub shells stripped (Hope, Novatec, Morality) this one all made from 7075 (shell and freehub). if only both of these worlds come together....
  8. My pedal kick honestly is somewhat weird to see or maybe. I stopped doing gaps straight front, usually diagonal or sideways since the first time i stripped my hub and landed nuts over the stem. Or maybe I need to imrove my gaps more, it is just heartbreaking to break parts which impacts my pocket and enjoyment....
  9. How I wished, I am one of the guys who never ever had problems with the rear wheel hub..... other parts were reasonable and cost less than hubs....
  10. I came from freewheel too.... I had nightmare removing it on the cranks for replacement. So I moved on....
  11. I had stripped 2 Pro4 ss previously. Lucky to bbe still under warranty, but now I installed that hub into my Dirt jump bike. So I assume it will last forever...
  12. Extention Raid. I don't know exactly. I am fat, heavy, noob.... Highest drop honestly is just 4 feet. pedal kick is only a meter, can't sidehop above 3 feet.... I don't know, really....
  13. Another OUCH!!!! on my pocket..... Am I really cursed?
  14. I am as tall as you! And I only rode 24 inch street trials bike. I came from bmx and DJ as well but not extreme. https://www.tartybikes.co.uk//search.php?keywords=Extention&cookie_all=1&cookie_refresh=1
  15. I am happy with these, better grip than kenda small block8
  16. this will eventually test my faith..... riding happy or ended with broken teeth...... 2 Hope pro4 passed away and was much worried when that happened on a relatively gap with snakes in between....
  17. What I am after as well is the material used. As of 7075 T6 for the shell, that should be tougher than 6061 (hopefully I am correct).
  18. there should be, I got this 135 x 10 bolt-on.... besides there are ways to convert those just like the other hubs....
  19. bought from Taobao, I am currently working in Macau. There should be Extention Dealers in Europe. Or try in their instagram page https://www.instagram.com/p/CxkoKrdBDvt/?img_index=1
  20. i got positive vibes from Johnny of Hope.....
  21. I am not sure if Hope will STILL cover this for warranty. I did claimed for the first time, Hong Kong Authorized Dealer was cool.... But did not expect the same failure with the replacement hub....
