Nice post but he's got the 2005 maguras according to his post therefore the tpa bodge is useless i think :) i dont think there is any way of bodging the 05 tpa B)
hey,
i use them front and rear and they have taken quite a bit of abuse. fairly heavy taps on a single walled front rim and running really low pressures on the back and mine are still as new. as for grinds i wouldnt know as i dont run one, sorry.
hope this helps!! (Y)
im currently using the koxx rubber grips and they have a little hole in the end so i use compressed air to fit mine. Before i used this technuque (sp?) i used to use multi purpose glue and when i wanted them off just break the seal with a screwdriver and pull them off! compressed air is the easiest as you can pop them on and off in seconds. :P
Ive had my 2005 fixed hub on my mod for a good 5 months and it hasnt been any problems. Remember you have another side aswell so if you dont want a new hub yet the other thread is still available. I am quits a 'well built' lad aswell so its not as if you were heavier or anything. get hold of the people you bought it off aswell and see what warentee is like :P
hey,
from what i can guess the bearings have gone. Go to your LBS and buy a bottom bracket tool to fit your bb and a crank tool if you havent got one and remove your bb. Then if your unsure what length bb it is, measure it ( its PROBABLY 127.5mm) and buy a new one. replace the old bb with the new one and put the cranks back on. after riding for a while check your cranks for tightness as they will probably settle down and just keep an eye on things for a little while :P
P.S bottom brackets are normal thread on left handside and opposite on the driveside :)
i was lucky enough to get sent the prototype pictures but have been told not to put them up :) but there are some around that someone might let slip out :-
Hi,
I was just wondering, as i am soon thinking of getting a Zoo Python but quite fancy a gold colour scheme, are the stickers laquered (sp?) on or are they stuck on after?.
Thanks,
John
haha thats exactly what i had done to a old bmx to get me into trials! :( we used a exhaust clamp to attatch it to the downtube and a strip of metal to attach it to the chainstays! it was class untill i did a 3' drop to bash on a rock and basically bent it all over :) but thats me for you :S :P (Y)
i have just started learning to gap properly and statics off the road up a curb i can do from about 5ft away (Y) i didnt think it was too bad as it was the same night i just managed a 3ft gap :) (Y)
seats in trials (if you have one!) are just to sit on if your watching someone of rolling down a hill etc. most specific trials frames that have seats are too low (seat to bottom bracket) for you to sit down and pedal because the crank often comes to high for your leg to go around. It is a bit of a silly question but the others could have helped you rather than just write a bit of a silly reply. (Y)
