  1. Or ring Select Bikes to try and sort the problem rather than posting a topic straight away. I can see why your not happy but its not fair to Phil and the rest of the people at Select Bikes as it sort of looks like you are not happy with them and they have done something wrong. I am not having a go just saying that I dont think that you have gone the right way around doing things.
  2. What the hell is new members chat turning into?
  3. A pipe cutter is by far the best way to do it. Much neater than hacksawing.
  4. Good topic mate i find that if im going away with my bike i tend to strip it down before i go and as i use tools put them on my bag then that way you know you have everything you need.
  5. And pray that they are bluffing. If they're not and you expect it on Christmas day you are going to be gutted. but still hope for one
  6. We'll done Sam, for drawing such a beautiful picture you can sit on the special chair all afternoon! that is one damn fine tree mate. Im sure you could do a nice wall plant jobbie on it!
  7. This may be wrong but im pretty sure they made 12 of these sexual cars
  8. Hi, What bottom brackets are you lot running with your ISIS cranks please? also mod riders do you still have to run a 127mm ish bottom bracket for front freewheel? All replys appreciated John.
  9. QUOTE(deanie-b @ Dec 10 2005, 05:33 PM) ←Gear ratio calculator in Danny's Signature Hope you don't mind danny! http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/index.php?showuser=1 Anyway, I wouldn't recommend changing to a 16 tooth up front, that's ridiculous. Thats whats Mods use! most mods use 18t up front and i have a mate with a stock with front freewheel, he runs a 16t up front.
  10. £600, nice bike, great spec. What else can you ask for!! Monty if you ask me that is quite a good buy
  11. when you first see her ask her how she is and be a gentleman. Also make sure you have 'protection' with you just make her feel comfortable and make sure you both enjoy your night. When you get back to your place grab her tit then lock her out
  12. the popular one for that is a large screw driver and a hammer but some people cut a piece of metal so theres 4 bits on the end and pull them out. you then pull it through your headtube and when it springs in behind the headset cup you can hit your cup out with the metal
  13. im running a 04 one and a 2.5" tyre. and if there was a problem it's just because your cross over is to short in which case just get a longer cross over hose and rebleed your brake.
  14. I prefer the 2004 ones but others like 2005 ones. Its just opinion
  15. Yeah i've heared nothin but good reports on them. they look good, they're wide (48mm rear) and have good sidewalls. What else can you ask for!! Oh and they come in a nice selection of colours too
  16. I found using my pillar drill as a press was the easiest but not many people will have one and not everyone on here has a vice. By the sounds of things he hasnt got either because he was asking about the block of wood and hammer technique. Oh well, opinions, opinions
  17. Get the bottom of the headstock of the frame on something solid and warm the frame headstock with boiling water to expand it a little bit (to make the headset easier to press in) and place a little grease on the top cup where it goes into the frame. Next place the top cup in its desired place and push it in as much as you can with your fingers. Then get your piece of wood that covers the full area of the cup and hit it on top of the cup. Keep checking that the cup is going in straight on the way down, just take your time. Warm the frame again and repeat all those steps for the bottom cup. Like i say just take your time and be patient. If a cup does tip over a little bit get a smaller bit of wood that can cover the bit that is sitting higher and tap it GENTLY untill it sits straight and then carry on tapping it down with the larger piece of wood. NEVER use a large hammer, just use a medium one so your not forcing/hitting the cup too hard. If there's anything else you need to know just drop me a line and ill do my best to help
  18. loose? as in the calipers are loose or the lever or the lever is pulling in too far? we are going to need much more imformation than that.
  19. Hi, most people use a vice to put one in with blocks of wood to stop damage to the cups, however i use the big pillar drill we have as a press and some people even use a block of wood and a hammer but i wouldnt advise that oh also make damn sure it goes in nice and straight or else it will flare your head tube
  20. try to use less text talk and you might get validated quicker
  21. Hope is sorted now dave a simple bleed and service. The pistons are a little stiff which makes it pump up if it is pulled in and out lots of times in a row but as soon as the pistons are free'd off properly it will be perfect i wouldnt change my mono trials for anything
  22. thanks for all the replys people! any more mini reviews
  23. sorry, yeah, by 2006 i mean the 06 cnc'd ones
