  1. They're the same on both hands and I'm right handed.

    Calluses

Hello guys I've got terrible calluses on both hands since starting trials. I'm sure a few of you guys have had the same issue too. What did you do to solve this? Are foam grips a better option? I currently use the standard grips which came on my Fourplay which are the Lizard Skinz. Rich
  3. Thanks guys, you've put my mind at ease now with your comments. It was a bit of a pig to get the chain back on but managed to figure it out by running the chain through the tensioner (which now doesn't add hardly any tension at all) then over the front sprocket and use the torque of the cranks to seat the chain. Best Saves

Great videos, nice to see even the pro's struggle like mad when learning epic moves. It gives hope for the rest of us
  5. Took a link out of the chain and now the tensioner sits like this, very tight. It does feel a lot better with very little play but would having the tensioner like this cause any issues? P.s it's just clearing the Chainstay Rich
  6. Thank you for the help and advice on the chain tool. I've ordered a bbb nautilus chain tool, that should be fine for now. Can't wait for it to arrive as having that quick link does play a bit on my mind and causes me to not commit as much through fear of it snapping. Rich
  7. I'll try this tomorrow after work. As I'm a noob to these tensioners, which is the pinch bolt you are referring to please. Also it's recommended not to use a quick link for trials for obvious reasons so by removing the quick link it will in turn make the chain tighter. It's a KMC chain at present, if using a quick link is frowned upon then why are the Inspired bikes sent out to customers with the quick link attached . Rich
  8. Thanks Mark. Coming from a MTB background all this is new to me and all the help is much appreciated. Never had to remove a link before or snapped a chain which is more luck than anything I guess! The KMC chains seem to have what looks like mushroom pins holding the links together, will they pop out fine using the tool? Failing that I'll just replace the chain but would still need to shorten it out of the box won't I. The current chain has been off once and been using it for about a month after the non-reuasble quick link was re-used. Rich
  9. Any recommendations on a decent chain tool for removing links and reconnecting? By the way that frame colour should have a sunglasses warning haha. Rich
  10. Hello guys I'm wondering if the chain tensioner on the Inspired Fourplay is adjustable? It's a 2020 Fourplay Pro and the chain has stretched slightly, not enough to warrant removing a link but definitely a bit wobbly compared to when it was new. Can the trialtech chain tensioner be adjusted to remove the chain play? It's the one with 2 jockey wheels. Many thanks Rich
  11. Hello Dave, is there a reason Trialtech website isn't viewable today?

  12. Just seen your video on youtube of you riding this, well done man Rich
  13. But the Aluminium ones which as considerably more expensive seem to have proper bearings .
  14. Those one up components pedals scream plastic bearings once again
  15. Just a shame they decided on plastic bearings, who thought that would be a good idea . One would have to be in the know about bearings when reading the product description to realise they were in there. Do you know of any other wide platforms available? Once you try wide pedals it feels very strange going back to regular size and almost uncomfortable as the weight is distributed over a smaller area on the soles. I'll heed the advice on monthly greasing, thanks for that. Rich
  16. Yes indeed I have but as the pedals are only 6 months old I've only re-greased once. Only the one pedal has begun to have a wobble too which strangely is on my lazy foot side. Rich
  17. Second thoughts on sending the pedals off. Would a crankbrothers refresh kit remove the wobble? Rich
  18. Thanks for your personal opinion on them, much appreciated. I love the feel of the stamp 7 pedals and the grip is amazing. Just a shame they need rebuilding so often . On a plus note I contacted the shop on Ebay which I bought them from and the kind gentleman agreed to fix the issue if I sent them back to him. Rich
  19. And now they are selling shoes too. I've been thinking of the Hope F20 pedals instead of fixing the crankbrothers ones. I need a wide pedal you see. Rich
  20. Unfortunately it's not a sealed cartridge bearing, looks like a plastic bearing that comes with an overhaul kit . Really disappointed a pedal of this price needs to be spent on every 6 months. Rich
  21. Got a bit of an issue with my CrankBros pedals. I bought them just over 6 months ago and found today that the right pedal has a wobble! The play is between the axle and pedal body. Initially I thought the axle might be loose so I removed the axle, gave all the parts a clean, re-greased and put back together. Wobble is still there and I'm totally stuck on what to do next. Does anyone have any experience with the Stamp pedals or has the same issue resolved? Many thanks Rich
  22. Yes I won't be bothering with Dick Turpin and his Royal Mail for parcels anymore due to his fascist views on rectangular parcels
  23. No a rectangular shaped one smaller than the tube in diagrams. Rich
  24. Yes the girl behind the counter said they'd have to use parcel force even the dimensions were within those described above.
