I think that statement needs re-wording a bit. Curtis bikes are priced at what they should be (material, time, quality, tools etc). Id say an IOLO frame is underpriced at £350, but with the trials market going the way it is these days with impressively cheap overseas frame, its hard to justify a higher (but more reflective) price.

I have a question aimed at Berridge (and others in the know) here about tyres. I run a Nokian Gazzalodi on the rear, which I really like due to the very low rolling resistance, buts its awful for pinching and isnt too grippy on natural. So for natural, I run a big Maxxis High Roller, which has loads of grip, just doesnt get puncture, is a fantastic tyre, but simply doesnt roll on the street. I didnt realise how much difference a tyre can make to the bikes overall feel until i changed these round a few times. Im looking to get a new tyre, which caters for the best of both of these. What is the Swamp Thing like for rolling resistance? I presume with it being a 2-ply maxxis, it will resist punctures well? Are they any other alternatives to suggest? Cheers

Ill try and help make your decision a bit easier. I'm unable to build FP frames until next summer (Uni constraints, other work etc). I've had both the Curtis and Leeson frame previously, so Ill try to help you out a bit. The overall build quality of the Curtis is better in my opinion, and I also reckon they are stronger/can be made stronger, but, the price does reflect this too. Where as the Leesons have been known to break a fair bit, this is likely to be due to the fact that they are more widespread throughtout the trials world. So, I've not really helped at all
