So we plan on having the nicest looking car Was just interested to see as I know a lot of people on here are doing Engineering courses at uni.

I had an interview today with Jaguar. Went well, very informal, only knew a few hours beforehand, but I was prepared to comment on the nex X-CF concept car if they asked me. Id advise just thinking of a few questions you could ask beforehand and prepare yourself for some tricky questions you think they may ask.

Ive not used Maya before, but am very experience now with modelling in Studiotools. Got a few cars made up now. May well get an oppurtunity during the summer to use Maya and get really good at it. Am I right in thinking it can be used for animation purpose too?

Its a reasonable idea. Theres no reason why variable geometry can't be used, and incorporated into the design of the frame. Its happening in other disciplines of the mtb world - check this! and theres a commencial frame that has an adjustable headangle (probs loads more examples, just these two come straight to mind).

I "had" always been a magura person. When I got my 24 it came with a vee setup, avid ultimate all round, and thought I may as well give it a chance to see how good it is. Since that day, my rear brake has been absolutly faultless. So nice to set it up and have minimal maintenance. Has always been silent, great power, doesnt flex the frame, never slips, absolutly awesome. Pad life has also been rather impressive. My red heatsinks have worn down about 2mm in over a year, with 6 months of that on a grind. Cant beat it! Id advise to change to rear vee

New video using up footage from the summer. I made this during the autumn, but only just got round to finishing it. It was intended to be 3 short ones to go together, but just stuck them all in one at the end. It got to the stage of being about 85% finished, then the files got moved, messed up etc and I just lost the enthusiasm at that point. Thought i may as well put it online. I think the quality is a bit messed up, hence the reason it only warrants being uploaded to YouTube. Here it is Ive also uploaded all the others on YouTube, probably can be easily found off that link. Please comment, its the only way to improve for next time! (Some comments on how my video editing has progressed would also be appreciated, if anyone watches them all at once). Thanks tf
