  1. Id deffo agree that there is some sort of link. Im also pretty sure that I got into trials through the more practical side of engineering and have been making things and trying random things for as long as i can remember (all started off with the LEGO (Y) ). I have ended up at uni doing a more design related course, though now I wish I went for an engineering based degree, cos its more what Im into, but Ill stick with what Im doing for now >_<
  2. Where you off to uni Andy and what you doing there?
  3. I would coe, if it was after the 25th september :)

  10. Awesome video James  Is it suppose to be 4 mins long, cos towards the end a new tune started and ended with only one clip, just a bit curious whether my div x player thing cut it short or not :o
  11. www.freshproducts.co.uk You have just reminded me, we shoud come over to Lowersoft for a ride sometime, due to the poorness of the previous Norwich ride "
  12. Go in the evening. Ill try to drag chris and ben and joe along then. I got profile now so Ill blend in well
  13. In reply to this thread, my camera has returned oday and I have some pictures. This is what I had when I made that post. If you do decide to run a D321 on the rear, DO NOT DRILL IT. Instead of denting it, it pushes the materail out around the hole, creating a big flatspot and wobble in the sidewall (can sort of be seen in the second pic). Its lighter then a Ronnie without holes anyway. Then my Hope started to skip a lot, so I got a profile and built a whole new wheel with a undrilled D321. Much better :- Note to everyone, you can easily convert a Profile Mini BX hub (110mm spacing) to fit in a stock frame with two spacers. Its immense. I love my profile :">
  14. Yes, can be customised how required  Quite a few people a running these with Chris King Fun Bolts now.
  15. Well done Patt (Y) Do you know where you came over all of the rounds? Have to ride sometime when you get back, seeing as you got some spare time now :)
  16. It takes a proper beating. If you land on it, it wont break, it wont break your mech hanger and it will usually stay in place. If you land on it proper proper hard, it may slip on the groove, but its easy enough to re-tighten it where required. Raub - Yes, they are available, but only in the silver finish as seen. The site is working properly again now.
  17. In regards to the Steves post about the Fresh Products tensioner, I have uploaded a picture of the new version. Cant have you looking at the wrong one (Y)

  21. Im in need of some flash help currently for my site. Trying to get the pages to load into a certain sized window. Can any of you guys add me to msn and assist me please?
  22. Snail Cams work by pushing against a bolt that is located on the frame inside the dropout. The cam shape means the wheel can go back and forth until the chain is tight, then you tighten your wheel. Few different types, ones with grooves, ones without and Monty ones with didgy nut on the end :shifty: Grooves mean positive location and potentially perfect wheel alignment, smooth ones are just smooth. Im gonna be making "how do snail cams work" picture sometime soon to upload onto my site.
  23. Would it be possible to put a list up of local places to stay. We were thinking of cmping somewhere, but the lure of B&B sounds much better :shifty:
  24. The fact that you didnt tell us was the point!
  25. Echo Control 04 Top - 98mm Bottom - 98mm Glad I could help :D
