    I like his bashguard :ermm:
  2. Chris has been trying since mid summer to get these compounds right, and has made various moulds thrughout that time. The ones I have had on my smooth rim have been awesome. Problem is, after braking, you can visibly see rubber left on the rim.
  3. Wont be the same not at Shepton. Saying that they did do that Pboro one (which was the best Ive been to) then didnt the year after, so hopefully they will see how shit this is and go back to Shepton after. Birmingham is a lot closer to home for me, but its not the same without the 5 hour trip and camping. So much fun :)

    Mavic D321

I didnt grind the sidewall, used it straight off. It wears my Rimjams rather dodgily, but i put that down to the fact there prototypes. Get a nice hard pad (eg koxx browns) and im sure it will be fine.

    Hub Broke

It has no axle as such, just those super duper long steel bolts either end. I cant see as that makes a difference as they are so long.

    Hub Broke

Do you seriously think that makes that much of a difference though?

    Hub Broke

My profile hub has just decided to split in two? Is this frequent? Not had much luck with hubs recently ^_^ If anyone has the profile phone number/email at hand, could that please jot it down here. Thanks
  8. Hahaha, that made me laugh (Y) Yeah Patt, would be appreciated :ermm: Its 110 mile from mine to Skeg, only 60 to yours :$
  9. If you give me a lift from Grantham i will (Y)
  10. What I find tends to happen is not much. Between your bashguard and your chainstay is barely any room anyway, and there is always a tiny bit of slack in the chain anyway. Its a Nylon roller too btw, no rubber. I gaurantee you will not snap another mech hanger when one of these tensioners too :turned:

    Video

Made a video with some old footage from the summer. Had loads more but messed the files up, so couldnt use them. Mainly Joe Maher and I, with Jake too. Get it here
  12. No, no no Si :P Waterjet cut. Then machined, on a manual milling machine with a few jigs. When i looked into casting, its basically not an option, for the price to set it all up. The design of mine are pretty much sorted and have been for a while, its just Im very reluctant in spending large amounts of money on production. Anyway, a few pics here of the last prototype.
  13. I sure agree with Steve wheen he says it pricy (Y) Im looking into machining mine in a different way to CNC, just because the price is ridiculous.
  14. Question - Does anyone know the exact material used for rotors. Is it just standard steel?
  15. Because I love all you guys back home soooo much, I may make the effort to come along.
  16. Why cant you just get it cut from steel?
  17. Its good to hear everyone is getting on well with the tensioners. I am aware of a few minor things that can be improved upon. Fatmike, put a piccy of the PIMPED mango one up (N)
  18. Some nice stuff being churned out there Steve. Interesting to see how they machined it from a circular piece of material. After having some quotes for some CNC stuff myself, these must have cost a bomb to have produced (not sure on what quantities you had done) but they do look pretty swish, with anodised finish too (Y) and some nice solid aluminium (HE30).
  19. I got a few pics of Patt towards the end, but left my charger at uni and the battery is now dead. As for the comp, I enjoyed it, but retired as soon as the rain come (smooth rim). Wasnt doing too well up till then though, bit slippery and super long sections (Y)
  20. It had sooooo better not rain :S Might try expert tomorrow :)
  21. Im running a Mavic D321 on the rear. Super strong, wide enough, and theres just enough room to fit a brake pad on :D

88% of the systems scanned by the Game Advisor rank higher in performance than your system.
  23. I feel the urge to possibly make an appearance?
  24. Not bad selection we got there Joe. My arms in the last one look proper fooked up
