  1. I was going to mention Jack Barnes actually. He certainly doesn't get much mention. But I certainly wouldn't compare him with Danny Macaskill. He's a beasty rider, but doesn't much of the spin/combo stuff that Danny is into. I don't think Felix Mucke gets enough attention. He's astonishing to watch.
  2. I'll be there probabnly late Sunday night until Friday night. I'm not going to have time for a ride at the weekend I don't think. So a ride on say Monday or Tuesday would go down nicely
  3. Wish we'd have been told that. Rob and I were returning hubs within weeks of getting new ones. And we just keep getting the same "only 3% fail" and trying to put all the blame on us.
  4. Hi Everyone, I'm going to be in Cosford all next week and intend on bringing my bike. Is there anyone that fancies taking me to some nice spots? Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Telford e.t.c. Spode
  5. There's no doubt it would be more powerful than anything currently available. However, I just wonder if it's practical.
  6. Hmmm. I'd like to see one in more detail Much greater chance of "disc" contamination. And I can imagine buckling would be an issue, at would be just generally ruffing up, or denting the surface. I'd sooner just have a rear disc!
  7. I find a long day ride will knock me out for a couple of days. But if I'm only riding gently for 2-3 hours in the evening, I can keep that up for days on end.
  8. That's what she said. Giggity Giggity!
  9. Someone's getting good I see that shoulder injury hasn't set you back at all.
  10. That goes to show, don't slate a product which is obviously faulty, for being at fault
  11. Don't usually advertise local rides, as I ride in Tonbridge most nights of the week. But a couple of peeps are making the trip up here, so if anyone else fancies popping down/up/across, let me know!
  12. Look, if you're going to call us gay, just do it
  13. You summed it up nicely there. A tuck is a natural extension to good technique.
  14. We've reinforced the water repelling device using solid steel spokes and titanium holes. The axle is my biggest concern...

  16. I think they are both good videos in their own right. I think my sister could have chosen better clips. I remember at the time there being some awesome moves she didn't use. JJ was low on time, and it was pretty much meant to be a "string some clips together" type deal.
  17. This video was made using the same footage as "Mind The Gap" (http://www.thinkbikes.com/video/thinkbikesmtg). However, Mind The Gap was never captured in HD, and a video was needed for use in the Custom PC Benchmarks Suite that was in HD form. For obscure reasons, we sent the original tapes over to Jonny Jones (www.jonnyjones.co.uk) to let him have a play. With the limited time he had, he came up with this - a very different video to "Mind The Gap", using little of the same footage. http://www.thinkbikes.com/video/thinkbikescryptic You can view or download it here. Anyone who is into computers and fancies testing the (hopefully) final build of the new Custom PC Benchmarks Suite, head on over to this forum thread: http://forums.spodesabode.com/viewtopic.php?p=30208#30208 A couple of people are having problems, so it would be interesting to see if anyone else has any!
  18. I do. Worryingly. But then she did only recently stop smoking. And my voice is unnatural.
  19. You better shut up about my sister. Or. Or. Or, I will come to your house, and I will CUT you!!!
  20. I have two! You stay away from my sister! She's reserved for Tall_Rob... She's like me, but with shorter hair and bigger boobs.
  21. Hello everyone. A new video today (one of a couple I'm uploading right now). The footage for this video was shot over two days, in Hastings and Tonbridge. The footage was shot and edited by Jenny Miller (my youngest sister), for her final year project of her university degree. It's aimed more at being entertaining, than it is being the best showcase of footage. It's certainly "unique". She seemed more content to show footage of us not making tricks, than making them This is the first video of me on the Simtra, and quite literally the first ride of me using it! This video stars Dave Lowe, Spode, Darren "Lee" Hill, and Robert Larkins (Tall_Rob, Duke). http://www.thinkbikes.com/video/thinkbikesmtg You can watch it there, or download it for later.
  22. Indeed. I wish only people that have actually OWNED rear discs, would give advice on whether or not you should run them.... As far as the mount, that's an awesome design!
  23. I thought you were "happy" riding for Cycles UK Third or Forth rider in our demos is usually pretty flexible. I'll certainly add you in to the pool!
