  1. Thanks for the help lads, shift+F10 for the win. Think having the workspace spread over the 2 monitors confused it but now peace and order is restored.
  2. Right, normally I drop an effect on the clip then in the clip window theres the effects tab as illustrated below This tab as just decided to dissapear for some reason on a particular project Im working on, however it does still exist in all the projects I'm making. Ideas? I've had a good look around on the drop menus but I can't find it anywhere! Mods- feel free to move this to "Random Small Questions" if thats where it should be.
  3. I think he was just amazed by her colour, his GF is clearly lacking a lot of it
  4. Doesn't that prove my point exactly? I'm not saying absolute that nobody can be friends with their ex's because I see that around me. However I see far more people who hang around with there ex's "being mates" when actually there just being strung along (either one of or both parties) and I just think this whole notion of "of cause we can still be friends" is imbedded far more in idealistic fictional media spin than in the real world. But hey maybe I'm just a grumpy git.
  5. If she REALLY wants to get over him then ask her to cut off all ties completely (especially if you want a relationship with her). I don't know where this whole "oh my ex is like my best friend" made up fabrication came from but in short (IMO) it's a load of crap. IF 2 people has been sexually intimate then you can't just go back to being friends and all la de da without either party wanting to start something up again. The fact is sex is a clinical addiction (from various hormones relased for both male and female) and so if she still see's the other guy then that element will always be there. If she's REALLY genuine and you REALLY want a relationship then just lay your cards on the table and tell her that other man has to go.

    Sorry...

You would think they would be bored of all the ash they have there already. Be interested to know what the Oz team would be like without Warne, legend that he is.
  8. Did anyone actually keep to last years? Mine was to go a year without anything from the Maccy D's or Burger King menu and in a few days I will have actually sucsefully kept a NYR for the first time ever! Mind you can't wait new years day for a good greasy egg mc muffin.
  9. Pasta with tesco's cheap tomato sauce, bacon and (the killer ingredient) half a tin of baked beans. Cut up 3 proper man size slices of bread (fu*k Atkins) and bung on some real butter and your laughing.
  10. that made me giggle sir, just buy her a nice new pink rear rim and if for some crazy reason she doesn't like it then I'm sure you can think of someone who would do.
  11. It's pretty easy having the 2 monitors, you dont need special software just sort it out in control panel. It's dam useful if your using Premiere because you can spread your work area over the 2 and have a full sized preview screen.
  12. Or you could just take a dump/piss through her letter box
  13. I used the CD's for a few weeks before my theory and I got 100% on the first part and 63 out of 75 on the hazard perception, there really useful! 3 days before my fiance was going to take her theory she hadn't even looked at a test before. 2 days of a crash course (pardon the pun) on the CD's and she passed it no trouble. One thing I question about learning with a parent, are you learning in the sense your dad is actually TEACHING you or is he just going out in the car with you and letting you get on with it? I mention this because the majority of parents learnt to drive a long time ago and the technicques you need to learn to pass now are completely different. E.G your dad might tell you to signal when over taking a bike which in reality you shouldn't do or when you approach a roundabout your dad might tell you to work down the gears while your instructor might tell you to blockshift. I'm not saying which methods are good and which ones are bad it's just a fact you HAVE to do the right ones in the eyes of the examiner. As far as general driving goes, driving a car is actually pretty easy (just think how many peoplel do it!) it just gets more complicated when other people drive like idiots so all I can say is just stay alert of whats going on around you and you should be fine.
  14. Out of interest can standard DVD players (not PC ones) read AVI format or do you always have to compress it to MPEG2?
  15. Someone has been been slipping date rape pills into the ladies drinks
  16. Please for the love of all things sacred don't get one! I'm ensured on my mums and it's simply horrid. The pedals are too damm small and close together and it's nasty to drive.
  17. That was very silly, just needed a few things: -Close up on the tea being mixed -First person shot at some point -A big knife -Some Kung Fu -Breasts
  18. If your going to do this properly then you have to get measured at one of those 50p machines you see outside of leisure centres because everyone (tall people are the worse) think there taller than they really are! BTW I'm 6'4 and wish I was 6'6 because then your technically classed as a giant.
  19. Good job dude looks awesome. Have to ask about the rail angle, was that using a dolly zoom effect like the one used in Jaws, panning away while zomming in?
  20. You crazy kids, do it the old fashioned way and buy one of these

    Untitled!

Nice little vid, always good to see someone who can roll as well as hop. Might be worth making sure your camerman keeps you in the centre of the frame, sometimes he missed and you ended up out of shot but on the whole it was good
  22. I'l miss him, he was awesome in "Hot Shots Part Deux"
