I don't know about you but if I was sat in a room and someone spoke to me the way some people use text talk I'd rather be dead than listen to him/her babble on and sound like an invalid. I guess you could say it's about intelligence, most stupid people annoy you right? Using text talk gives the impression that you're* stupid, even though you most probably aren't. It's also harder to read in most cases, which pisses people off. *in general terms, not you specifically.

If I saw someone riding a memorial I wouldn't really be all that bothered, after all, it's nothing to do with me, if he/she wants to ride it then fair enough. However, if I saw an inexperienced rider smashing his bash ring/plate into it and chipping pieces off left, right and center I wouldn't think twice about telling him to get lost.

Ever see the Coustellier vid in Paris (forgot the name, my bad) where Giacomo gets 'stuck' between a green phone cable box and a telephone box? He then switches up to front wheel on top of the telephone box, drops off and receives applause from the crowd? That's a brakeless wedge.

Agreed, I've always wanted to ride the war memorial along Southsea but I'd never dream of actually doing it. Purely out of respect for the people who fought and died to save their country and the new generations. In the eyes of many people I may just be a 'punk kid' but I know who deserves my respect and I'm more aware of moral fibre than most.

I reckon something where you can hold your bike hanging over the wall with at least a foot between the back wheel and the ground. I've found that trying it on bigger stuff can be easier as (believe it or not) there's less room for error, you hit above the ground and you're not going to drag on the floor or anything.

Now I think about it, what about the Area 51 vids? With Peter Backgren (sp)? I seem to remember them being a little different.

If you haven't already, try and find the TRAVinco, Recovery and Indoor vids. Also the videos of Kenneth Stubo and Thomas Ohler. They're all indoors with various pallet set-ups. Maybe you could copy some of those.

I noticed that all of these newspaper articles are cracking down on people who are sharing the files. So what if (like me) you don't allow people to download from your machine, so it's just one way? It's probably completely insignificant, just that every article I've read has specifically mentioned the sharing of the files, which lead me to believe that not sharing may be looked over.

Well us Islanders (myself, Tank + Phil) were thinking of making a trip up to London in the first couple of weeks of July, possibly staying in a shitty hotel for a couple of days and make a long weekend out of it.
