Teenage Angst Communal Agony Aunt Thread
Smo™ replied to Has anyone seen my shoe?'s topic in Chit Chat
A couple of months back I started working at a hotel behind my house with a kick ass foreign exchange program - there are at least 60 girls from all over the world. I happened to get on well with two Swedish girls and eventually end up dating one. At first she turned me down because I was too young (she's 22, I'm 19) but then invites me over a couple days later. We're huggin, watching TV and she kisses me. Fair do's - I play along with that, one thing leads to another and before I know it she's on top gyrating. Good stuff. She stops and says it's too soon to have sex which didn't really bother me, I don't mind waiting. Next day she comes over, same deal. Last night she gets wrecked at a club so I pick her up and drop her home, we kiss and say goodnight. Half an hour later she texts me saying 'We're just friends, right?' This is where I start to get that feeling, you know what I'm talking about. The veins in your chest feel hollow and you get an almost sickly sensation. The conversation gets even more frustrating when she says 'People say we're different and it's true. I'm not worrying, everyone else is. In this place it's about everyone else because people talk and that's the way it is. Why do you think nobody can ever get a relationship to work at [the hotel]?' Firstly, opposites attract. Chemistry 101. Secondly, what the f**k? She's willing to throw away something good because other people think we're different and she's scared they'll gossip? Who gives a shit? Life isn't about the assholes who have nothing better to do than make shit up and stick their noses where they don't belong. It's pissed me off that she wants to end this because of other people, despite the fun we've had together. Cunt. -
Transformers - 9/10 The Host - 8/10

Lighten up bud, you know you've laughed at stuff like this before!
-
I reckon you'd look an utter tool and lots of people would hate you.

Holy sh*t guys - I swear Transformers is the best movie I have ever seen. Just finished watching it and I know I won't be falling asleep for a while. Every action scene, or even prospect of an action scene has your hairs on end, a massive grin on your face and your heart thumping in your ears. Plus Megan Fox is (ironically) a fox. *Splooge*

Roughly 60 metres. Doesn't take long.

Firstly, there's a good chance I know the car. Secondly, you want to buy the offer which is a return ticket to the Island from Portsmouth and just use it one way?

There could be some ports blocked.

Cheers bud, already got a few movies

Well in that case the lead designer/project manager who designed the Towers obviously had no idea what he was on about. In all the interviews where he's been asked such questions he stands by the designs and perpetually claims that the buildings were created to withstand such impacts. Even the Empire State didn't collapse when a plane flew into it and that building is older and the structure weaker.

Confused as normal. I'm done sleeping around and being a whore - I want to settle down a bit now but the girl I've been seeing is exactly as I was. She wants f**k buddies and no commitment. Balls - should never have kissed her. -
I can't be arsed to keep rectifying what you're saying. Just watch the video.

So why wasn't there a pile of floors on the ground afterwards? By that method there should at least have been 30-40 floors all piled on top of each other on the ground. Also, that would leave the steel girders intact, resulting in the steel structure still standing hundreds of feet into the air. Also, that method is impossible considering the building collapsed at almost free fall speed, which simply could not happen as each floor collapsing onto the one below reached the critical stress required for the floor to give way.

Well no. Be at least a little realistic. Of all the things the Government are capable, reading the future is not one of them. You can quite easily film something, edit it and upload it without the Government finding out - at least for a little while or until the damage is already done. Why would the inside fall in the first place? It's reinforced steel girders and may I remind you that no other steel reinforced building such as the Twin Towers has ever fallen due to fire in the entire history of man.
-
The man in the 'confession' tape was not Bin Laden. 9 of the 13 'muslim extremists' said to be on the hijacked planes are still alive and well. The Twin Towers are the first buildings with steel reinforced frames IN HISTORY to collapse due to fire, not to mention they were specifically built to withstand the impact of a plane from any direction at any level. People did see random explosions half way down the towers - watch any video of the collapse and you will see plumes of smoke blowing out windows 10-15 stories below the collapsing debris.

By forcing the public into fearing terrorism and identity theft they can gain concent to push agendas such as 'chipping' people. By encroaching on your secrecy and privacy the government gains absolute control. As for 9/11, a lot of people made a lot of money - we're talking hundreds of millions here. There's no way the Government would allow the media to publicise shit like that which is why it's never printed. You're forgetting who controls what and just how absolute that control can be.

That video obviously went right over your head.
-
Without spotting a debate here, it has also meant the deaths of more people throughout time than for any other reason.
-
You have to see these videos - they will change your perspective on a lot of things and quite honestly, scare you. Part I - The Greatest Story Ever Told Part II - All The World's A Stage Part III - Don't Mind The Men Behind The Curtain Before someone says 'this should be in the Best of the Internet' thread, don't - because you are wrong.
