  1. It was mine originally, If you want one, just phone him up, he'd be happy to make another. As far as I know it isn't on the site as no-one else but me ever ordered one.
  2. Whats the point in top tube measurements (Y) It a mod with no seat and so the seat tube angle can chenge greatly and therefore the top tube length :o Its the centre of BB to centre of headtube measurements that matter for front end length wise.
  3. Not meaning to get into the argument, or tom "bum" anyone, but...... I agree with Tarts maths there... That is the torque given to the hub. It may not be the force aplied to pawls or whatever, but it will be the torque given to the hub when the chain is under almost its maximum tension before snapping. And the simple question asked by Hititfaster was what torque is applied. Edit too slow.
  4. 20-30mm is very low for a mod. I'd say somewhere between 40 and 55 thats your "normal" mod bb rise.
  5. 375 maybe, 380 even better. Whats the BB rise going to be? Whats the headangle work out at? 597 is quite long on front. hats 23.5" As far as I can rember from when I had my 20" made the long Koxx/python etc are 23", short ones are 22".
  6. That was nice and chilled. Some of those spins :D :D (Y) :-

  10. I'd just like to say, using this approach, and by treating them with some respect, atleast when they are within ear shot, I have had little chav problems, and even when they are getting roudy with friends have said "nah leave him alone he hasn't said anything". The people who seem to have the most peroblems with them are the sort of people who looks down on them, to their faces, and talk to them with such resentment, and allways take the piss even when talking face to face. These people have got in to fights been mugged and generally harassed. I dont want to get dragged down into the argument, asll Im saying is theres way round trouble with these guys in most situations.
  11. I'd say to define real trials, you first need to define trials. The best description I have heard for trials is Therefore real trials would be people doing this. "fake trials" would be not using a push bike, or putting your feet down when you feel like it etc. And whether your covering tricky uneven rock, or big concrete blocks, you would still be under the definition of trials, and if your putting spins in and the odd crankflip your still covering challenging terrain, but just attacking it in a different manner. I dont care, go out, have fun, ride your bike. Thats all that matters Edit: and learn to spell :">
  12. It wasn't really a brightenigh effect, its down to sketchy filming/weather conditions (mist). Thanks for all the comments (Y)

  16. No pics (Y) But my first "trials bike" was one of the baracuda frames ( like trials-ace's red one but in blue) with orange forks and stuff I put together over time. Then got a b26, sold it. Then a t-brid (moved to mod) snapped it Then a Zoo Lynx, snapped Then an Echo Team, cracked Then a brisa b20 , cracked, welded crakced, Than a Monty X-hydra, totally battered and cracked in numerous places, Then my Leeson :-

    Traengland2 Vid

I can't get on the OTN sever either. Would someone be willing to upload it to trials-shack, please?
  18. Yeh cool video. Shame about the quality as everyone has said. Some really nice stuff in that, like the tailwhip nosepick thingies and that G turn  Not too much real trials in there, but what was there seemed pretty cool. Cool vid, would be even better if quality could be fixed :)
  19. I'll have a hot cake please!, oh, a sticker I mean. ^_^
  20. Yes you need to thread lock the lockring to keep it tight, or just be prepared to tighten it a few times per ride. Other than that just pre-engage, try not to be too harsh with pedals and you'll have no problems. you know you could have got this info and more if you used the search. HINT HINT (Y) :D
  21. Amazing vid. Really impressive lines there. Spent alot of time going :o :S and that post/rail/bench line is just insane! Helmet... might be an idea.
