Yeh I ended up damp for ages, they didn't only pour it all over my back but all over my seat (Y)

I cant come now. Isn't fair I really wanted to ride. I wont be out riding till my theres skin grown back on my palms (Y) :- Had a nice over the bars moment to land in gravel and broken glass earlier :-
-
Me me me me. Although the weather is looking decidedly suspect. I guess i'll confirm at a later date.

A few other people including Gtburrows you realise yeh? as he was sditting next to James. And I was cheering on mike, and everybody else.

Sounds good mate (Y) 24" is taking over, as it should :)" :D

For me that is the main criteria. I would just like a job that is enjoyable, and I wont wake up everyday thinking " Oh no, I have work today"

I agree that a BB rise is needed. Maybe talk to Clive I know he was building opne with +15 for Kris to try. I got mine with: +20mm BB 380mm Stays 1020mm wheelbase with pashley forks 73 degree headangle I'm running a 90mm stem and I love the way it rides, everyone else seems ot think its rasther short, but i'm not that tall and liek the way it flicks about due to length.

That would depend on whether you are using an alu or steel frame really........"

Dont dis the forks, they are amazing. I've never seen a set of forks flex less than Fall Guys, when there is a 14st trials rider front hopping on them. Not me I'm only 9st :S If you want silver and drilled Koxx/Jiz are looking like your only options unfortunately. On the other hand buy any rim, drill big holes and paint is silver :o :S

Unlucky Seb, If your riding as smooth as you usually do it could last a life time :S Seriously no one can really predict how long it will last before it snaps, but you can be sure of saying it is going to break. You dont really want to be riding it when it snaps as you could get hurt. Explain this to your parents and try to get a new frame now :o" But I suspect you could have a few months out of it yet :S .

Looks niice. I almost bought that 4 seasons build, when I was looking for a BMX a couple of months ago. But I went for a Fly Barcelona in the end, mainly due to money restraints. I have to say I'm very pleased with it. All the parts seem to do what they are meant to and its lovely and light.

Weather wise the brake works fine unless its properly raining, damp or drizzsle seems to make it work better than usual. What Mike said about braking for my rim is true, though my rim is an Odyssey profactor rim, not one of these. Mine is about 650g i believe so not over the top heavy and it seems very strong. £80 for a pair of these rims doiesn't seem that bad an investment.

You may have chosen a bad sunday Rich. Theres the Jim Jam the night before, the North Wales comp, and a Hampshire comp all on sunday...... Wait till another time I guess, like maybe 2 weeks time? I'd be up for that.

I had a really long search/hunt for these rims when I was investing in some new 24" rims after Atomlab drilled mine wrong (N)" I only managed to find a small handfull of sites with any information whatsoever on them and they wern't very usefull. I suspect they were only made for a short time a few years back, so like the xx 20" bmx rims are rare as the propverbial rocking horse poop. If you can find any they do seem like they would be an amazing rim. Good luck, you may well need it

Biased opinion?" I only say after looking at your advata and signature...... On topic a Viz rim will fit in a pure with a maxxis tyre, as thats what James Porter is/was running , but I'm not sure which width of tyre he was using. At the same time in my opinion you would be much better going for an Echo cnc'd rim, they seem very nice, and made of a material that holds a grind better. I think this is the sort of question that could have easilly been answered on msn, not really a forum quaestion, because as soon as 1 person says they can you know it is possible to run this tyre in this frame. It isn't really open to debate mearly yes or no. There may also be a sticky concerning tyres and frames which is bound to have info for an Echo Pure.

Surely its not really there just so people know when to make a cuppa. I suspect (in other words guess) that its there to tell the bloke who has toi change tapes over/cut to adverts to wake up and get ready :P

It does look like a promising design. I'm sure when I saw it in the news paper it not only had hope mono m6s but also mtw rims and Nokian Gazzalodi tyres, it may even have had some tripple crown mtb forks on it. Not sure about the look either meself, but it does look different, and new.

Both videos totally sick. The Corey one, is nuts. The opening move is so nicly done, and wallride 720 out :P Crazy people.

They are do-able but much easier/more fun with a kicker to vertical wall. First of all start setting up your pallet wallrides as steep as you can, and practice riding them as if they were a vertical wall, not really riding along them to begin with but more hopping at them and pullnig off, not relying on the grip of your tyres much. Then build a small kicker (only needs to be a pice of wood and a coupel of bricks) and start applying the same technique to a vertical wall. Set the kicker up at different angles till you feel comfortable with one (I find about 45 is ok for me) then have a few run-ins, and the just go for it (Y) Remembering that you need to carve, lean the bike over and to begin with atleast just hit the wall and pull off. If there are any slightly off vertical walls around learn on these first, theres a couple at around 80 degrees near me. Once you are getting these more consistant then try it without the kicker. Its mucher harder to get that inital boost and hight at the wall, but the actual riding is no harder. Then, to quote Howies, "go get the fun!" (was gonna put a picuture of a vertical wallride but i havent one handy, heres a cool picture James took on sunday :) Though it does show me leaning bike over so technically its not justy me showing off (Y)" )

Would you like to send it to me :)" I had a 30 day trial, and was getting my head round it when it ran out. Could give you some pointers if you like.... (Y) :P

I have to say from my experiance, for camcorders, Sony rock. As Andy said its much better to get a miniDV format camcorder as they will give best quality for price. Stills wise your best bet is proably to buy a stills camera too. My Sony DCR-HC85 has a memery stick and a seperate photo mode on camera and takes nice pictures, but its not cheap (rrp £800). Most of the lower end camcorders will take stills of a kinda, but it will be effectivly 5 seconds or tape with just 1 frame showing or similar. The first camera you linked to would take good stills but the video quality would be very poor. In my opion your best bet is to save some more money and get a Sony DCR-HC14 from Amazon or somewhere for about £250 Hope this has been some use.

Technically a pair of scisors is a machine. A machine is a system of tools to perform a task.... I believe a bike falls into that. Beeing inamimate has nothing to do with it. And I havent ever done my archery, naughty me :)" :)

You sir just got a nail and hit it quite hard on the correct end. Cant wait for Here On Earth .....

I disagree, you can have bars too wide. As someone else said it depends lots on your shoulder width. I went from my thin onza bars to 28.5" Echo bars a while back, and thuoghgt it was great, but after a while I decided to see what it would be like to have thinner bars again, so I cut themn down to 27" ish and they felt much better, I was in a more comfortable riding possition on the bike and could ride a bit better. Back on topic, in my opinion its not worth paying extra for monty, just got for the full zoo! bar and stem, or Echo bar and stem, both seem nice.
