  1. I've got no real problems with my parents. I could probably find some tiny faults but would be nit picking ( Tidy your bedroom etc) We just kinda stay out of each others way, I basically do whatever I like, but I dont cause my parents any trouble. Because I'm not causing any hasstle, they have no reason to stop we doing what I like, I guess its a kinda cycle.

    Speeding Fines

Or just drive at the speed limit ?
  3. Heres one I made earlier
  4. Awesome. Lets hope we see more and more videos of this nature. Very definatley still a Trialsking
  5. I know there have been lots of random photo posts recently, but I just thuoght I'd share a few I have taken on my camera. They aren't exactly professional, just capture moments nicely I think. Theres a few trials shots, and a few non-trials shots, shame I didn't get my act together for the photo comp, ah well. They are taken with a Canon EOS500. Theres a little bit of crap on a few, sorry thats my scanner Other than that they are straight of the camera, only maybe a slight crop here and there. http://photobucket.com/albums/e188/Steve-A/?sc=1&multi=3
  6. When I tried it, it was less than pointless. The 26" frontwheel effectivly slackened, so the streeting felt slower and less responsive. It also just kinda felt weird, the bike moved in odd ways, like its balence was upset. On the backwheel it felt no different, though when compressing for gaps it was easier to knock the front wheel on things, becuase it was lower off the floor than when runnnig a 24" wheel. The only thing I couldn't try was reducing my bar height to counter the extra hegith due to bigger wheel, as I run a low bar height anyway, so maybe worth a try, but IMO 24"/24" is much better. If your looking for a good rim, try and find one of the oddyssey pro factor bmx rims in 24", someones selling one in for sale/wanted. I've been running mine on the back for a year now, its holds grinds like a 521 and has been rediculously strong. If you cant find one the 24" DX32s would be my next choice.
  7. Well I for one really enjoyed that ride. Shame about the weather closing in, but it was still amazing fun. Pulled a few things I was pleased with and was cool to ride with Matt, Jon and Fred inparticular, rest of the group was awesome too.

    New Frame

hat looks really nice and professional Hope it rides as good as it looks. As for the 360 droputs situation I'm sure when I was chatting to Clive bout it , he said there is no patent or similar on his design, hes just relyed on the good nature of people so far not to copy him. Maybe hes gone and got one since, seeing as everyone else seems to think differently.
  9. Looks like its gonna be a fun ride. Fingers crossed, loads of people should be down from worcester, including myself
  10. The weights I quoted were those i measured from my tyres hanging from scales, but I guess my tyres are probably missing quite a bit of tread.
  11. Whats the actual weights of those tyres? I thuoght I couldn't get mucvh lighter than my Schwable Racing ralf for front ( 450g) and Moto Digger for back ( 650g)
  12. Havent had much chance to get the camera out over the last few months due to cold bleak rides and just lack of new lines to film, but have got a few things here and there. This video is those few things. Its got myself, Josephine, Flipkicksbs ( Ian / Jian), Tim Stedman and a little of Adam, James Porter and Rowan in it. Just been filming anything cool going down on the rides I've been on, mostly just in the local towns. The tune is "Is this thing on?" by Less than jake to keep with the slightly more lighthearted nature of this vid. Thought I'd try a video in 16:9, so any feedback on how that effects its affect would be welcome. Enjoy. Link to TV.isg.si here , Worcester8.mpg

    An Old Vid

Really enjoyed that Was put together very well and had a nice professional look to the video and editing.
  14. Wow. That was damn impressive, and looked like it would feel so good to do those lines.
  15. I'm up for comming out, havent been to bristol in quite a while
  16. The crack doesn't let you on the s1 / s2 online part, but you can still play online in the demo section.
  17. That hits the nail perfectly on the head for me. I can see why people love their long bikes. Koxx did kinda start a revolution, and long bikes have brought about lots of new techniques and tought people ride bigger and further. But I for one could never ride one of those bikes. I borrowed a mates pitbull for a whole day once to try it out, givbe it a proper test ride, not just a couple of backhops. I could see why they gap nioce and sidehop well and would be eaier to ride on natural, but it still felt very arkward and the bike felt so big it was hard to control at times. 24" suits me. It wont suit everyone, but I can ride better trials than on my mod or stock, and better street than I ever could on my bmx..But most of all I have fun. I can go out and enjoy riding whether we';ve got a single bench or a trials heaven.
  18. Its 1020mm long ( well 1015 due to bendy forks), with 380 stays, +15mm bb and 73 degree head angle. I really like it, only thing I'd say is that I'm not running such high rise bars as most other 24" riders, which might need playing with to get best use out of lower BB.
  19. My experiances with BB height on 24" have been going between +25mm and level. Overall I'd say I like my +15 Leeson. When i was running the pashley ity had a level BB. I could still go as far, as high etc as on my Leeson, but it didn't feel as nice. One bonus was spinning. I could spin it more like a bmx, ride out of spins better, even if i landed at an angle. Riding +25mm ashtons and other Leesons again, feels simialr to the +15 of my own. It does feel worse to spin, you cant ride out of spins as well if you land sideways. When on backwheel it feels marginally better than mine but nothing to write home about. So for me the +15 is best ballence. It feels nice on the backwheel, and easy to ride trials with, yet i can still trow it around liek a bmx, and get away with dodgy sideways antics. If you have the cash to splash trying a +50 or similar would be very interestin,g but only if you also make the wheel base over 1060, i.e. making a proper "long low silver" type bike but with 24" wheels, rather than half hearted like the Zoot.
  20. I'd say whats other people have said is pretty accurate. Only thing I'd like to add is that no matter how scared I am about a move, once I pass that point of no return (when you just gotta do the move) I'm suddenly so calm. Even if things go wrong, everything almost seems slow motion and like its not a big deal. Perparing for a line a million things rush through my mind about what might happen; what I have got to do, but when I actually step on those pedals, its just a case of clearing my mind and going by instinct. Edited to make sence.
  21. That was pretty damn cool. Was enjoyable to watch nad getting some wicked inovation in there
  22. Cool. Got you manuals down And seem to be adjuisting to the ridgid fork well
  23. Thats what I have done. I've got the AGP graphics card running my main monitor where most aplications open, then a cheap PCI card running my second monitor with the task bar, msn and icons type thing. When I'm using photo/music/video editors and similar I have the graphics heavy items in the main monitor and have all the tools and menus open in the secondery monitor. I dont think I'd ever wanna go back to video editing without two monitors.
  24. Yeh sonds like a good plan for the money. They aren't soo bad to ride, Akrigg sure did some sweet stuff on his. As a beginner it will be a while before it would snap on you, and by that time you will probably want to move on anyway
  25. Sam Wheeler and I shall be riding Oxford tomorrow. Anyone else up for it?
