I'm 6ft and went from a Zebdi (1025wb) to a Onza T-Rex (1080wb) and its affected part s of my riding but thats due to the fact the Im running huge bar/stem combo, so 1085 with a shorter stem (around 90ish mark I'd say) will fell pimp (Y) James :S

The Ribo look more like xc style shoes (lowish ancle support) in the last pic I saw (they may have released new ones with the v2 frame/site and stuff? I dont know) and the montys generally look very tall whereas my koxx seem in the middle and nice! James :S

Well I plan to get as much use out of these as possible! Really it was a kind of test to see if I liked trials shoes at all...I'm way to fed up of 60-70 pound skate shoes looking gash and slipping like a slug on ice! When I kill these I will probably go ribo/monty. Ribo's look to low and Monty's to high though? Is this just in the pictures of has anyone found this to be true? James :S

Haha, fair enough, thought I'd give them a go though! I just didnt want to spend that much on shoes for the Ribo's nor even the montys... Also did you still use the laces in your koxx shoes? They seem preety useless with the fat velcro bit... James :S

What rear setup you got? Maybe running less tyre pressure? (I know it sounds silly but my bike can sometimes feel heavy if I go ride street with high pressure after a natural ride with lower tp) Maybe try that? I dont think it should make that much difference? Maybe just get stronger (Y) James :S

I just got my koxx shoes through, and they're size 10, as my feet are, and they fit fine but feel to thin? They rub on my little toe on my right foot but not my left...has anyone else found this problem? Could it be I have them on to tight or something? Cheers for any help James :S

The back of my Rex feels preety much the same as my Zoo! did... If you think about it the second you start riding with a heavier back end the second you start building more muscle to cope with it so after a while it really doesn't matter! I'm now running an onza ronnie on hope xc with (unfortunately) a panaracer fire fr 2.5...It's perfectly fine for me! If you ride anything like a koxx rim you may find it harder to set the brakes up (one of my brakes was touching the rim as far back as possible in the mounts...) I'd have to say go the new BT ones :S They look damn fine and disk mount only is the way to go :D I just dont like the look of the new Echo forks, I havn't had good experiances with Echo forks then the bring out the new "BRICK" range... Yeah I think Jansons spot on on this one. The stripping/reanodising will change the geo of the hub, this COULD make the hub function incorrectly, i.e destroying itself...keep the black and stop being so vain :S spray it gold if it means that much to you but not worth the hassle! Get some gold spokes instead! James (Y)

I have a Fire FR 2.4 On the back of my t-rex, and to be honest, they are CACK! I'm going to get a maxxis, way better. The pinch protection is ok, not amazing, the grip is kinda poor and wears quite quick! James ;)
