  1. True.I have other bikes for bunnyhops, this ones would be best option to learn pedal up and so on.Do you mean shorter stem like 120mm. or longer? Thank you.
  2. Yeah,La Bourde, these Kenda's are so-so,i am going to change them.Bike is in good condition but the stem is quite long 165/25.I have ordered 145/25 which is closer to original one (which is 150/30) to see how it is.I also have one 120/20 so have to try which one is better for me (i am 165cm. tall).Frame is long , wheelbase is 1080 so i guess bunnyhoping would be very hard.I am not liking handlebar so i think to chage it but i do not know what back and sweep angles are.Any suggestion for brand and model? The frame has noticeable flex around rear brake mounts so i have ordered Echo two bolts booster. The brakes are Echo TR,i never have such ones so i do not know what to expect. La Bourde, any suggestion about the handlebar? Thank you.
  3. Thank you,La Bourde I also thought that might be a Pure one but did not know what MK is.The stem definitely would be changed but i do not know what size might be and that is problem.I hope so someone here would make a suggestion about. The rear brake is HS33 on smooth rim and i have never ride Magura before so i do not know what to expect. Some people says that does not hold like vee's but have more bites.Would see.I am not sure about this Kenda tyre on the back is good or not.Never ride Kenda. If you have some thoughts to share about parts, please do it.Thank you for your time.
  4. Hello there,i was offered an Echo bike in good condition but i am not familiar with geometry etc. on this one.As a man who never ride this kind of bike ( i really want to try to learn some moves on stock one) i just wondering would it be good choice for beginner? The rear brake does not have brake booster(has Magura HS33) which is good or bad thing? Also previous owner run long stem but i am not very tall (165cm.),so what stem do i need,if i have to change it(i think i have to)? P.S.The attached pictures shows the bike(the owner did send them to me). Any advice and help would be appreciated.
  5. I wish i could but i am nearly fifty so,otherwise is a goоd variant.
  6. I saw Inspired chart about this but i just want to know if any(for example) 160 cm tall rider here in this forum got a Hex and how is like or this bike is just for tall riders only? Thank you anyway.
  7. Hi there.Inspired Hex recommendation shows that lowest rider highs should be 160 cm.I just wondering if someone here is same hight and ride Hex? Sorry if that is a bit silly question.
  8. You are right, that is what i experienced swapping bars. With low bar you have lowering your chest and put a lot of hands and upper body energy to overcome this "heavy front end" filing and have a shorter time(compered to high rise bar)to get to the balance point and tuck your knees. With the high rise set up you have a little more time. You explained it better and detailed, thank you.I will keep riding with that high rise bar because give more time to react if got things incorrectly (like missing to tuck my knees on time).I have practice more in order to get backhop rightly. Thank you.
  9. Ok.I did put my Inspired bar back on the bike and did tilt it a little bit back from vertical so that i could do bunnyhop easier. With this Pro bar was somehow easier to get balance point for backhop(i am still learning) but had to put a lot of energy for bunnyhoping.I have to try some compromise about and learn to backhop with high rise handlebar. Old dogs here were right, low and long fot pure trials and high and short for street ride. Be well people.
  10. Hi everyone,i hope so you doing well. Here is the thing: initially i started riding my bike Giant(black one) with Pro bar - 40 mm rise(you could see it on the pictures below).Stem is 90mm,around 10 degrees and two stackers of 10mm.,so i started learning bunnyhop and was like front end was weight like 1000kilos.(i know it is due to my technique),so i swapped it with Inspared Team bar and all other stuffs are same and i have managed to hop (in the best attempts) about 40cm.Today,i just wanted to try old bar and put it back to the bike...and was like i started again from the beginning.Front end was like ton weight again.Very disappointing.Just out of curiosity, look at the pictures and say was it the right angle or not? Or should i put back Inspared bar instead of? Just to mention, that my fork is not original one but some different one and wheelbase is not 1040 but 1060 instead.Maybe i need a longer stem? Thank you in advance for your time.
  11. Thank you, this video is helpful to showed it up.I will take your opinion into consideration as well and maybe will reconsider my choice to vertical dropouts.
  12. I am located in Bulgaria currently.Thank you for your suggestion but somehow i would prefer tugs instead of this kind of chain tensioner like this one on Edith, otherwise it is looks like good offer. What about the crank set of Extention,do you have any obsession about?
  13. Hi everyone,if you are beginner and weekends warrior like me,what choice of yours about first 24" street trials bike would be?Not be expensive one,i found some Inspired Flow(reduced price),Alias 24.1(also reduced) and some Extention Heimdall bike-here is the link to: https://www.trialmarkt.de/de/trial-bikes/extention-bikes/bike-24-extention-heimdall-ltd-2024-hellblau I know that most of you are very familiar with Inspired and Alias too,but the bike from the link above looks good, despite been most expensive of all these. With Spank rims,Magura Mt brakes, good tyres and weight of 10.5 kgs it is look promising. What i do not like in it is that i can't find any information about the hubs and cranks(Extention ones). Are they better that Trialtech ones, who knows? I am not in possibility to get second hand bike because good ones are out of price range or owners not willing to do shipment abroad, let alone taxes etc. Alias and Flow weights almost equally, but wheelbase on both is different,so i wonder which one would suits me better because i ride and 27.5 bike as well. Every thoughts are welcome and thank you for your time.
  14. Hi there,i am a beginner too with pretty much same setup.I got Avid SD 5 arms and Heatsink yellow pads, rim is not grainded. While ago i have used Jitsie(white) v-brakebpads,which is awesome -IMO.I think that they are more suitable for smooth rim compared to Heatsink,i feel them more solid somehow.I am not saying that yellow Hetasink are not good, maybe is that because of the smooth rim.The Jitsie's were quite noisy at the beginning but that stop after while. For the bite,i am not good trials tlrider,i would say that they have more hold than bite, some people says "mushy" or something, maybe that is the right word for.Trying to hope in back wheel,i am 90kgs and they hold well.Give them a try if not going to grind your rim.Take good brake booster, this is must have.Good cable too, like Oddysey one.I would recommend to change the brake lever with Avid Speed Dial 7. 1.Jitsie v brake pads. 2.Oddysey liner cable. 3.Brake booster-good one. 4.Avid Speed Dial 7 lever. ...and make sure, that pads is always perpendicular to the rims,if are noisy you are golden. P.s. beg you pardon for my english. All the best.
  15. Hi.Thank you.Maybe i am not clear myself, that because my english is not good enough,i suppose.I meaned that i need sone overall tips how to training balance in terms to try riding rail later. How do you guys training for?Lines, along curbs etc.I am not talking about trackstand, that is clear.Got some tips from Lenosky's video to drop your foor down,to stay centered on you bike etc.,but when watching some good riders it is seems that they move their body low and forward.I did try this also, but had too much pressure on my hands and balance seems uncontrollable. Some used their foot like outriger and try to stay still for some time. Why they stops like that? When is the best time to stay on two feet (horizontally) and when to drop your leading foor down?Stuffs like that.Maybe i asked stupid questios but could not find information about.Thank you.
  16. Hi,everyone. It is always pleasure to me to watching video of someone who riding rail, habdrail etc. with precise movements and speed,i guess, you to.I bet that many of you can do it,so would you be so kind to share some tips about?I mean something like, how to use break and when, what is your body positioning and so on.One more thing, how to practice all this stuffs before trying rail riding on?On flat, marks or? Thank you,for your time.
  17. Thank you.I thought about cartridges but I did not find information what angles do I need.LBS mechanic said that should be changed soon,so I am thinking about new one if I am not find cartridges for current one. Thank you once again.
  18. Hi there. Here are the pictures of it.The model is FSA -Orbit xtrme cartridge,at least it what is visible on it.I hope that would help.
  19. Hi there. My Giant Trials need new headset and current one is FSA xtreme - old model one and frame went to me like taht. What headset do i need in order to get fitted in that frame properly, because is old one?I look at FSA pig but i am not sure it would be ok,so,what would be your recommendation about? Thank you in advance for your time.Be safe.
  20. Not tested them yet.Did read that they last very long on smooth rims like mine.I try to learn how to backhop now and soon as go to practice would try them and I am going to post here.
  21. These slow front pivots just kills.Really.And that smoothness of yours...Very nice to watch.
  22. 3200 euro for this frame/parts is ridiculous - IMO.I rather spend this kind of money for some top Inspired or Crewcerz.
  23. I have MT4 with organic pads/180mm HC on front of my Giant Team and i am 85kgs.Got no problem doing endo's,would work on rear well too,I guess but never tried.
