  1. You love the yellow! Why the change may I ask? (You've had that control for ages) Looks lovely Steve
  2. half of it, you! thank you again you're a gay. and yes to coming down south soon... i miss riding down bournemouth and poole. got it from Hong Kong whilst I was out there. straight from biketrialstation, it's actually awesome to be in a trials bike shop instead of your online catalogue! thanks mate, I've heard almost just good things about this! I'm dying to try it out over the weekend, possibly with a new stem. do you think the Trialtech Forged high rise will be as good as the Tryall? Tryall : 127mm and 27 deg rise Trialtech: 130mm and 25 deg rise thanks for the comment so far! Steve

(anyone own a shortish bike with high bb can recommend me a new stem maybe? feels a little old jumping from +35). Let me know what you think guys, comments welcome, good or bad! and a random pic my girlfriend took of me... EDIT! sorry may not be too relevant, but here's a link my new VIDEO I've just made too, please check it out and comment if you can!
  4. good to see you boys back on it!! must ride soooon steve
  5. hi guys, it's been a while. just had a loooads of videos i filmed over the past year so i thought i'd put something together again. a video showing a few of our rides over the year here there and everywhere. comment would be great! VIMEO. steve
  6. yeah so i'm looking for anything around 600g, any lighter is a bonus. i've been struggling to get good bite from my viz so kind of looking for something looks similar and weigh about the same in white. any suggestion guys? steve
  7. just saw bessell's status on facebook. this is terrible news, never met the guy but i have seen videos and what a great talent (and i'm sure a good friend/family) loss. thoughts to his family and close friends. RIP. steve
  8. quick question, ATI Mobility 4330, does it have VGA/DVi output for dual monitor set up??

  9. mine sucks too, on my fans 26" frame and tryall 2 bolt booster, fresh medium grind on tnn's goes to poop in a ride. no sound, some bite but just not enough! steve
  10. mechanically (or hydraulically) the same with HS11 and HS33? lever looks bulkier though?? also, i'd like the point out that the HS33 was not originally designed for trials, when it came out it just happened to be the most popular and riders have to use it, these brakes are well popular amongst xc riders and some commuters, which i'm sure share a bigger proportion in the bike world over trials riders, which means magura probably won't listen to a bunch of boys moaning about their lever snapping etc. the split clamp is a great design. what needs improvement over current model is JUST that, and maybe CNC the lever body so its stiffer and lighter (and to match the hope ), and maybe somehow make the slave cylinder grooves (where the ring sits) smaller for finer adjustments. steve
  11. freaking love Progreen. check out his green lectures. awesome stuff. steve
  12. i loved these frames, but i hated the koxx graphics but i enjoy this purple and white. dank! steve
  13. i agree with the money part too, JT has made a good point and i would certainly pay more for a festival-like event. and as the money for a charity i think a standard buying raffles tickets on the weekend would be a better option, basically what JT had said. as for the entry itself, if i do come it won't be a full weekend, maybe 2nd day and last, but i assuming all entry will be the same as long as you have a wristband? - ie it'll be open all 24hrs and you can come and go whenever you want for shops or whatever? steve
  14. Gandalf the yellow... few years ago i was at reading festival and few of our mates did the £3 and find each other the silliest hat, i got bought a wizard hat and had to wear it for the whole day, and lord of the rings was kind of new then so gandalf came along, but i'm am chinese - yellow skinned so a bit of racism joke alongside i am gandalf the yellow. steve
  15. fair enough, that if tris showed you all the good spots of mk haha. yeah thanks its all sorted and i'm loving it. steve
  16. just found this on youtube. i think it's amazing... thought i would share. impractical and probably won't work as a helmet but it looks the shit! steve
  17. nice bikes, prefer the look of the simtra, always liked them frames. though REAL men learn & ride stock steve
  18. looks quite nice, interesting length... do you ride MK often? steve
  19. lovely bike, great choice of tyres too! though i didn't quite get on as well on the big betty, it didn't have the bounce i loved from maxxis.. steve
  20. longer, slight higher bb to compensate so not a massive change, does make TGS less effort! oh and less flexy dan we're riding once every few nights so give us a bell when you're free and we'll hit some streets, trying to get back into it, even if it is super cold! yep it is lighter, but i swapped for a single ply rear so that's probably why, sounds like a good plan, i need to get some muulaa so i can drive to places!! Steve
  21. Looks good, what happened to the marino? Steve
  22. excellent idea. never been able to afford koxxdays so this is the perfect chance for all trial riders in the UK for a big meet and ride-off. is it not easier to work on something privately owned? like most festivals in the UK they're just farmer's land, then its a case of getting enough obstacles to keep everyone happy? just maybe a thought, with accessibility and of course with an event like this you'd want it to be far enough from civilization (so the rowdy ones don't do anything too stupid) but close enough for emergency services? i.e. ambulance - hopefully won't be needing any of them.. i don't know much about the proposed area but its worth a thought. steve
