  12. yea im going to try get 1 of them SKF's. looks rather simple yet reliable... i heard they make the best bearings on the market... i just purchased an echo, well fair enough it doesn't come with instructions, but i think its quite a rubbish piece of bb for £64 inc tool. (the tool doesn't actually fit onto the cups properly) (and i have no idea how much i have to tighten the crank bolts before i crush them bearings..) its pretty crap for £64 steve
  13. whats the big deal? there's loads of pads out there that are equally as good. especially when you're using it with tar on a smooth rim steve
  14. cheers, i picked the frame up from hong kong for about £85, so i thought i could do with a change really... they're both middleburns?...so..do you like them or you hate them? thanks for the comments anyway, keep them coming! steve

(do they allow bikes in the room etc) looking forward for replies steve
  16. i believe the stock frame is just under 2kg (like 1.9kg), lighter than the ashton, though im not too sure whether it'll be as strong/weaker than the ashton... i do love mine though steve
  17. agreed. why change when you have a perfectly good frame anyway?...if anything...pure is a downgrade..surely i ride the stock though steve
  18. almost like my aorta, infact...i considered getting the pure instead of the aorta....but i like to be a little different! *staying away from them echos* nice bike dude. steve

  21. ooo... sounds like the tryall is out of the window. echo has a good idea, and weigh less than the kobikes bb....i think i'll go for the echo, unless people have had problems with them before?.. steve
  22. i need a new bb for my aorta, as i have a 118mm fsa platinum pro in it and its nowhere near wide enough. i've been lookin at tryall, ko-bikes/echo external bb and the viz bb... it has to be 122mm or more...which one you think its the best?...(weight doesn;t matter too much, i want some reliable bearings no shitty flexy axle) cheers steve
  23. rides really nice, although it was a pretty big switch from my giant to this...short to long. but im liking it more and more! its meant to be a +35mm bb rise, but im not sure what it is now with KOT forks, still rides really nice though.. and it weighs nothing! love it.
