  1. yer im coming home from uni and is well up for a ride back home, anyone else up for it? i'll be riding from middayish.. erm contact me or maybe meet at the station? my number is 07882388994 steve
  2. thats a nice base! i love those tioga's mc lite saddles! i've got one for my hawyes and it looks great, i don't think there's a nicer saddle for a old skool bike! why is the rear wheel/tyre a darker colour to the front? steve
  3. the 2 videos have been entertaining. the comp looked fun hah. again, everyone is pretty damn smooth in it. some big moves in the street, i like the mirror finish rims too.. steve
  4. wooow that was good, nice bike indeed! don't know about the music though...chinese are better off sticking with pop music lol would be nice if its compressed a little as well, the quality isn't amazing for the size! good vid though kind of worth the wait if you have 8mb steve
  5. now thats more like it! its lovely! steve
  6. haha oh my god they must have done it after they showed neil's footage on BBC over xmas. steve
  7. yer l what ash said they fit better cos of straps and clips, i have quite a few different pairs of shoes (skate and normal trainers) and have ridden in all of them, and i find the tighter and softer/thinner the sole the better, my feet can just feel the bike more. i only ride with adidas superstars 2 now, they're like the perfect shoe. but obviously its down to personal opinion, i can't justify spending £60+ on a trials specific shoe yet. steve
  8. many people sidehop from the back wheel because 1/4 of your bike is 'already' up.front wheel just needs extra lifting and back wheel needs to tuck up to follow the front. as other have mentioned really...do it the way you feel most comfortable. good luck! steve
  9. what a bunch a talented freaks. freak show. steve
  10. how unfortunate. about the stem bit, don't get echo or tryall? get a zoo one which is cnc or if you can fork out get hope or thomson, fully machined with good quality and lightness! and they won't break. steve
  11. i think they're lame and a waste of money. its just a machined version of the maggie so it might feel stiffer maybe lighter (though there probably won't be much difference anyway) and you don't need braided hosing on a maggie, its pointless as well. stick with the old maggies! steve
  12. hmm yer £50 is quite the value wheel. good buy steve
  13. that looks sweet! that mbk is pimp. cheers for the help guys i'll get some next week! steve
  14. if you want something faced properly the hope tool is probably the best. its what i use in the workshop at work anyway... its not worth getting a tool in my opinion, decent ones are very expensive and really how often will you use it? easier to go into a bikeshop that knows what they're doing and let them work the magic, it isn't an expensive job. steve
  15. cool, have you got a pic of your rear wheel? just want to know how 'fat' it is on the rims? cheers steve
  16. ha.. ha.. ha.. great vid..i guess.. steve
  17. i've been using maxxis minions for my rear wheel for a long time now, there's nothing wrong but i fancy shredding some weight off the bike and after some research the big betty is a lot lighter and grip wise shouldn't be too far back from the minions.. the only problem is they only come in 2.4's, it is an expensive tire and i don't know if it'll fit the tryall rim's width.. has anyone here tried them on a wide rim? any helps appreciated. steve
  18. get anything but the hope floating, you don't need the float, but it does look cool.... that is why i have 1 but they bend easily and makes some funny noises. if you want something more special you can have a look at the aorta ti ones? steve
  19. good vid, its weird how you turn your bars opposite the sidehop..yet they seem to be smoother than anything else i've seen..i might try turning outwards good effort! steve
  20. very nice... agree with dan, save up and get XTR, they're such lush levers!! steve
  21. na the standard specced t pro comes with front freewheel.. steve
  22. hi, i ride stock so i don't actually know much about freewheels :$ my mate has a 03' t-pro, the silver one with seat... and he's looking for a new freewheel for more engagements as he's improved a lot now. i know tensiles are really good and well rated for £35, i was just wondering if that would be easy/compatible with the standard BB and cranks that comes with it? any helps appreciated! steve
  23. that is so wrong...the train bit. steve
  24. tht video is really good, he's so smooth, and the silent maggy makes it even better!! don't know what happened at the very end though, bit of an embarrassing bail for a top rider like him! ah well steve
