bubble wrap, im pretty sure i've seen it in staples before... and as for weighing it...i don't really know, but what i did was got it all packaged, and just went to the nearest depot to get it priced. steve
find a local bike shop and ask kindly for a bike box...normally its 1 less thing for them to cut up and recycle so they should be more than happy to give you 1... take apart bars/pedals front wheel (maybe rear dependent on size of bike box) and give it plenty of wrapping to stop it from getting damaged... i used parcel force and the bike box i had was just small enough for their size limit, and it costed just under £20 for a complete stock best if you just package everything together then just get the guys at the courier to measure and weigh it for you..then they price it for you straight away. hope i've helped. steve [edit]: its £20 sending from UK to UK
don't look very vented for a mtb helmet considering it costs £59.99.... but for a lot of riders its more of a fashion thing so as long as it looks good people will buy it. steve
was it an early christmas present by any chance? red and green. crazy colours.... yet very good spec.. and i like the custom echo frame sticker. good job steve
yes if such thing may exist in the UK then it would be worth the drive. i mean there's a lot of riders who frequently travel long distances to ride other cities and towns...i don't see why there won't be any interest! do it! steve
the geo is here. 07 Giants and no one is helping, the thread is asking where he can get 1 and how much it will roughly cost. also if you read carefully in mbuk (not just looking at the pictures like a lot of 'readers' do) it says it is unclear that these will make it into the UK market as previous models have not had many interest. from the japanese giant website it says 199,500 yen which converts to about £850. not as cheap as you may think it is.... steve
monza is giro's mid-range helmet designed for road use, loads of vents and lightweight means its definately a comfy summer helmet, but there's no peak for it so you look a bit like an idiot, and it sits a little higher than normal MTB helmets, it doesn't protect a few areas around the ears/back of the head. steve
these have been out for quite a while now, at least in evans. although we don't do 'specific helmets fits' in our shop from what the customer had feedback to me was that they're ok, like the others have said they don't fit amazingly well, they're also VERY wide so if you have a narrow face it looks a tad funny. our customer rated it as the 'cool' helmet, so really just appealing for the younger riders.. steve
that is rather disappointing, as giant has always been pretty big in the UK. and these mod will definitely draw enough interests in the UK alone. shaaame. i still really want 1. steve
if a pro rider uses them it doesn;t neccesarily mean its good, especially hope's giving him loads of free stuff to advertise on MBUK. don't get mono trial for street it overheats so quickly its ridiculous, if you look in the hope catalogue it says its suitable for trials use only. HFX9's are pretty good for street. steve
nice 1 rik, nice to see some changes on that bike its better with that wheel isn't it? maybe heavier but a hell of a lot stronger! show us some video on that bike soon please steve
lets be honest now, neither of them can be good if you're paying £250-300, my frame alone is worth that. save up and build your own bike if you want a good 1. steve
ditto. 1.1 and 1.3 is a waste of money. 1.3 is terrible, shit disc on front, shit v on back, really pointless gears and shifters. V mounts. horrible colour..grrrrr so angry!! save up and get the 1.2 or likewise get the FLEA1. IMO well good beginners bike for £250. single speed. simple dropout (you can even run disc on it ) steve
all the aorta come like that, its pretty 2 tone at certain angles... hah yes. hope you're taking care of that beaut yerrr man 4 weeks probably. who knows. steve
