hopefully picking 1 of these stock from hong kong in a few weeks for my new bike project. it looks lush and there is so much more improvement over the 07 just from looking at the pics! just not 100% on the dropouts, seat stays aren't really supporting it much... steve

that indoor place looked mad. immense riding. steve

i think the saddle deserves some effort points. but get the frame sprayed, half stripped down isn't very cool. metallic purple sounds like a good choice...its like the new green.... steve
-
old skool alert. and it still looks stunning. i remember how lush it looked in the original red and light it was when it was new....and it rode like a beast! noice boike. steve
-
they're pretty new so i don't think anyone over here will have one yet. as for the frame design its quite nice, bit different but i think its a modstock dropout steve

Rules With Track Stands
Gandalf the Yellow replied to Fredfuzzyface's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
i remember when i started i was reading mbuk trials class like 3-4 years ago, they said turn the wheel away from your forward foot, i practiced and practiced and just couldn't hack it, then i just turned the wheel towards my forward foot then it was sorted straight away, everybody's different you just got to find out what suits you best, but now i can do both ways. good luck steve -
what about chain wear? if its old and stretched like a mother. steve
-
good luck hugh. the meta looks sick. and steve, i can see you're getting longer and longer see you back at the seaside soon steve

they do look great and much good review BUT correct me if im wrong but they're USB connection? (i need a fair good inputs ideally) steve

erm i would say so unless you can get it for less than £25.... i paid £28 for mine. my mate paul has the slightly cheaper ones (not sure what they called but they're £20 RRP) and from my memory they seem to be better headphones, at least for the money anyway. im trying to enjoy these new phones at the moment, been listening for about 4-5 hours now, its quite hard really as i'm well used to my E2G.. steve and no if you haven't used much other headphones you can't say 1 brand is amazing... (not that im that experienced but i have used a lot of headphones before...) steve

right my old CSW digital (cambridge soundworks they are that old!!) have just died on me after using it on a daily basis for about 4 years. sounds cutting out on both 3.5mm inputs so i guess its time to change.... they've seen better days. my CSW sounded OK, to be honest i was never really into quality that much but i have heard half decent speakers before and wouldn't mind something a bit better.. after something with: good clarify on mid? and nice solid punchy bass, power isn't an issue as my CSW were 2x8+24W so anything more powerful will be ok, plenty of inputs (as i have stuff like pc/ipod/xbox lying about that need to be heard) £100ish. a few particular models i was looking at were: AE Aego M Logitech Z2300 Klipsch MediaPro Altec Lansing MX5021E any ideas which suit me best?? or possibly any other ideas? cheers steve

ok from experience so far, in ear is still the best way to go but thats obviously nto what you're looking for, but if you ever change your mind, get some Shure E2G, seriously best sound i've heard for the money. i used to have some sennheiser PX100's loved them and broke them and always wanted to replace them. they sound fantastic for £20-30, i ain't tried the PX200, but there's a lot of mixed reviews on them so i'd personally stick with the PX100 except everyone can hear you if you have them on loudish... just bought a pair of skullcandy lowriders today, can't say i like them that much, though it looks pimp when i took them out of the package it felt flimsy and cheap, but it does fold into a nice size and comes with a 6.3mm adaptor (though for the sound quality i doubt anyone would be using the 6.3 for anything special)... sound quality - i would say my old px100 are better - clarify and fair amount of punchy bass, skullcandy treble was OK and bass is on the weak side considering its got a massive driver....just doesn't seem to be as good considering costing £35!! hope i've helped. steve

yes tim my boi! good to see a video without the drop gaps/taps/hooks/360 to backflip/drop gap tailwhips etc. soo chilled out. i love it! when are you coming to bournemouth again?? oh wait i forgot he didn't post the thread. what happened to his account? steve

no such thing as january sales in the biking industry anyway. 08's stuff is all new and fresh. and 07's stuff already in the sale from the summer just gone. steve

im guessing evans' trade prices? anyway i did really like the look of them, from the front anyway, the rear looked horrid. nice carbon bits around the helmet and a strap and actually looks comfortable.. let us know how you get on. steve

well i got it the other day. seen many videos and stuff of it and gameplay looks waaay better than the more recent need for speed series (carbon, most wanted etc) at least they got the physics tweaked and different driving simulations so for a recent NFS i think its pretty good. longly waited but can't play it on my pc... bit of a bitch really, didn't think it was such a demanding game. im getting lag in gameplay but settings have been altered from lowest to highest, still the same effect.. which i find strange.. i was hoping it was something to do with the direct x that i recently installed (9.0c) or maybe the catalyst driver im running (which i've updated to 7.11, then changed back to 6.14 when i found no improvement) any ideas? my system runs on: win xp pro 32bit amd athlon 64 3700+ @ 2.4ghz corsair ddr 1gb asus radeon x800xt pe agp its not the most recent system but its a respectable spec, my brother can play it on his old prescott P4 2.8ghz/radeon 9800xt with mid-low settings. come on forum gamers/geeks give me a hand. Steve

this bike is seriously nice. good effort.... but 220mm rear disc with a mono trial caliper? overkill no?... steve
