  1. i can see where the thread is leading. red pads for a harsher grind (=more noise) coust pads for medium/light grinds? sounds like i may be getting the coust..i just need to be convinced more by the vote. steve
  2. i'll have some too stu if you ordering ahah. steve
  3. will be on magura, does the snowy come in cnc backing as well? not too bothered about noise but i loved the sound of my crms. so verdict so far is reds are better than the coust pads, and snowy are quieter and work better with light/no grind? steve
  4. i've been using plaz crms and they have been great to me, just thought i'd try something different, and cnc backing to see if there is any difference on the lever will be used on a medium/light grind (was perfect for the crms) on a fresh rim. which one is going to be better?? cheers steve EDIT: poll now! oh and the rim is going to be a tryall if that makes much difference...
  5. sorry don't like the forks, but rest of the bike looks tidy. blue bars? steve
  6. bessell good effort for that hook. looked like a good ride. steve
  7. well i might still swap my burns for your tensiles if you want, since i got new tryalls but probably keep a spare crank for the 135mm set up steve
  8. bit off topic, but did you find any problems with the DOB? or just find the zhi a better ride? asking as i have a zhi z2 as well as a dob 08' being sent to me in about a weeks time. but on topic that is a really sweet bike, i can't wait till mine turns up! steve
  9. nice one grant. sweet spec consider its all your spare parts.. you've decided to keep it then? steve
  10. did you have any problems with the pr? if not why not get another 1...they're cheaper than czar and echo! steve
  11. that is well nice i really like the colour too... i think its just missing a rear white rim then its an absolute beaut. steve

  14. na its the 26 mate and haven't got it just yet, will be with me in a week or 2. need to email or ring them, just make sure you're ringing them at the right time its 7 or 8 hours time difference. and i got connections so i just bought it from the shop. anymore people have ideas?? steve
  15. thats where i got it from cheers though. anyway. you really think a washer on either side will work? steve
  16. right, i have a DOB 08 with 116mm dropout, and i want to run a monty hub on it (white is damn pimping)-(i believe its 106mm for monty frames) on trials-uk.co.uk dan says its also compatible with 110mm, but the question is will it work with the DOB frame with snail cams?? sorry for being a retard, but help would be nice steve EDIT: got another question really. i have a SKF bb and its pretty much brand new, they're lush and don't really want to get another bb for the DOB, i've got tryall isis cranks and symmetrik bashring planning to go on the new bike, and with the monty hub i will need to run freewheel. what is the best way to do this? obviously getting an ENO, but it may not work with the SKF as a ffw right? does it mean i can run the FW on the back and have a tiny fixed cog on the cranks instead? cheers
  17. free coaster wooo thats cool, they're so weird to ride and have like no engagement, guess its a street bike looks great andy, why are you using a mono trial on the back? steve
