yer thats what i don't like about them, they don't even make a good wheel build from the start which is annoying as i really prefer the feel of wider single wall rims.. a decent built on my mavic xc717 which is fairly light and its pretty much perfectly straight for the year that i rode on it, never been tensioned just a regular check on the trueing stand, and even then it seemed fine.. basically all trials specific rims need to improve to a standard where a decent wheel build can be achieved. without sacrificing weight too much at the same time. if you think about how many years these trials specific rims are out for now they could have done enough research on making much better rims.. steve
nice jason, looks much nicer built up! its a 100g lighter than mine! boo you... must be the front rim and rear tyre... we all know its a fantastic bike steve
thats why you my friend need to get back into it!!!!!! are we due a ride before you move away? and my god you're using the forum! yep indeed, have you done it yet? need to squeeze in another ride before i head home for holiday!! thanks for the comments so far guys steve
mine was fine.. and for the weight, im not complaining, purely because its lighter than my 28H front tryall singlewall rim which is STUPIDLY sh*t. and sorry Quackers, how does it look any uglier than any other trials-specific rim out there? steve
i've had both of these bars, and like inur said they're very different bars and hard to compare, its preference. i like the shape of the rage, i had it as an upgrade from my old doublewall, had a nice streety feel to it (though i don't like the sweep) on my stock and nice and stiff. i got bored and when i had my new frame i decided to make a change on the bars to the carbon, and i must say i am loving them more than i loved my rage when i first got them, but like i said its real hard to compare, as it was on different frames so the geo is influencing how i have my opinions towards them. i say carbon, purely because i like wider bars as well steve
hi peeps. went riding with steve coombes and stu in poole the other day and filmed a few things. nothing big or special, we're no hermance or belaey or superman in some cases.. coombes is riding the limey 2, and as for me, the orange dob. im just getting back into it because of a shoulder dislocation but already doing bigger stuff with the new bike so pretty chuffed.

comments would be nice thanks for watching steve
adam how did manage that 1!?! totally amazing bike, so jealous. good weight too, (but mines lighter) haha. will ride soon when i head back home in a few weeks, i want to ride it out steve
thats training?....insane. there's so much good riding in there, makes me want to ride straight away. inspiring indeed. well edited as well, and the 180 gap on the 2 benches+many gap to front is really good...... excellent video rich thanks steve
try ebay. i tried looking for one ages ago, but then heard real bad things about them so just gave up on the idea... like basher said there's a lot more choices out there with better geo and build quality. like the onza range and don't forget the yaabaa range. steve
the 3 brake mount choices is a great idea. and im guessing they're all going to work a treat. the canti mounts remind me much of a bmx they're looking good, especially the red 1. though i realised there isn't much info on the weight or did i just miss it in the thread? with all that extra stress plates and integrated booster...surely heavier? steve
im going to guess there are 10 colour choices available? 50 pair in each colour... so the usual red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, turq, gold, black? or something along the lines? steve is probably wrong
