  1. specialized sirrus elite if you don't want drop bars, it comes with flat with less aggressive gear ratio than a racer... armdillo tyre as standard as well so you'd spend less time fixing punchures steve
  2. wire riding?? sweet pictures. steve
  3. great video, really did capture the atmosphere, shame there were so many groups so this is only really part of the day action! steve
  4. yer basically depends on what you do, its pretty light, but it is pretty flexy as well, had mine about 2 months now, seems pretty good... steve

  6. yer boi dave. awesome stuff going down. - loving that brakeless sidehop, they are RAD need to ride soon when my exams are done and before i move back home!! steve
  7. cool little wall for practicing and being creative on... liking them 180's, and the atomz is sooo nice steve
  8. agreed. the plate is really there just to take the impact if you slip and unintentionally hit the chainset, so the chain, front freewheel or chain ring doesn't get damaged.. steve
  9. if the grind is worn quite smooth then heatsink reds become silent, i had it like that for a while, but its reaaaal dangerous you never know, it might suit your style, it had some bite, just not enough for drop gaps and gay stuff. steve
  10. why do people do that, you buy tyres for grip, if its not the weight you want then look for another tyre... you cut the treads off if means lower grip.... so you're just cutting money away.. i do it on the left side of my rear tyre purely because the dob frames have crap yoke clearance and its a bitch to not rub either side.. not to save weight. AND. i weighed the bike and it made absolutely no difference. steve
  11. the zhi's definitely nicer in my opinion steve
  12. ohhhh my i just came in my pants... thats bloody nice grant, and i bet these pics don't do them proper justice.. whats happened to the pitbull then? weighed it yet?? steve xx
  13. looks like a fun ride, i might pop to northampton for a ride sometime during the summer...its actually really close but i've never been.. steve
  14. ooh that is a good looking bike, though didn't you have a zhi z2?? surely thats a better looking bike... steve
  15. cool yer add me if you don't mind my msn is on my TF profile. i did a quick count of 70 heads in the pic, i might be wrong, but im quite sure there were more than 10 riders that turned up a bit later than the group photo so there must have been almost 80 riders?? steve
  16. yer not a bad arse tom. im liking these photos, when did people started riding in the sea?? steve
  17. some really nice shots. any chance of a higher quality of the group pic? thinking about using as my wallpaper... steve
  18. tandem. that was 1 of the ideas we had.. steve
  19. great pics. summarises the day pretty well: hot, loads of riders, loads of slags wearing litte, loads of kids. basically a good ride. RIP DJ steve
  20. awesome day, there were so many people, i want to see the pic and see how many were there.. good weather, but to be honest too hot for riding properly, and got headache + dehydration.... nice to see and met some of you's. steve
  21. i quite like it with the koxx stickers.... agree with the front tyre, that one belongs to an xc bike steve
  22. 18.5... just good for my height. maybe i need to eat pizza hut buffet more often. steve
  23. riding is good, but you've just repeated them clips (sorry which i hate) and slow mo wasn't very cool either... sorry to be negative.. good effort though. steve
  24. nick how did you find the sizing? northwave shoes tend to be 1-1 1/2 sizes too small in my experience. but that was from the MTB and Road lines. steve
  25. mine isn't as old but i still have my 2002 Kona Cindercone which was my first proper mountain bike, i learnt endos and 3 back hops on it.... might build it up haha. steve
