  1. huh? whats with the beef? anyway. you're probably right the fact that no one has a pro model in the uk yet, but judging from the name 'pro' and pics (better design on the drop out and seat tube/stays) its going to be an improvement over the current 08 model, so a logical guess and from a manufacturing point of view...its stronger, but how much stronger is the real question. i've had mine since beginning of march now and mainly ride street, its been aight. its flexy, but i think in a good way as it like springing me about. though i am sometimes under 10 stones (depending if im at uni or not ) and not a big fan and big big heavy moves. i wrote a pretty hefty 'review' of my dob to Matthew Gibson, he might still have it in his inbox, pm him for it. hope i've helped steve

  19. there's some good ideas on here, i think a product preview/review would be awesome, and tested by a particular rider, maybe a good idea to get the tarty guys or trials-uk riders involved in this as they will be most likely to see and have access to new products. im looking forward to this 1.. steve
  20. never ridden the toxin, but i've ridden my aorta for year and a half before i got my dob, feels great, and most people thats ridden it said my set up was near enough perfect for the geo. no cracks on mine, probably the only 1 to be honest, i've heard many of them cracking at the rear drop outs. as for frame flex there's a bit so at least a 2 bolt booster is recommended, i had a 74kingz 1 (freaking beasty) it was really good. the aorta shares the same geometry as the ZHI Z2, 1075, 380, +30, 72ha. which many people had said the geo is spot on between street and natural. im about 5ft9, shortish legs and the bike seem to suit me alright, being quite biased i'd give the aorta ago, possibly a ZHI Z2 steve
  21. just keep doing it till it dies, i can never tell if my grinds are harsh or not so i don't really care just tend to get on with it...plus it makes predicting hard... i think you'll be alright with a fair few grinds with the echo rims as they were revised to have thicker sidewalls for extra grinds. steve
